Zaghnol Boss Battle Guide

Details

Zaghnol is an easy battle, were it not for the festival's time limit. The event does not reward any AP or EXP so it is suggested to equip the best gears you have.

Mythril Gloves and Needle Fork.

Moveset

Zaghnol uses Electrocute to put him in a mode where he will counter moves with a thundara that hits your whole party. It also uses Heave which is a strong physical attack to a single party member.

Strategy

It is tough to steal items from Zaghnol due to the time constraint. If this is the case then keep attacking Zaghnol and keep your HP up with potions.

Another useful strategy if the battle proves hard is you can use a tent on Zaghnol. A tent will either heal the target to max health OR apply poison, silence, and Blind to the enemy. This will prevent Zaghnol from countering with thunder.
