To complete Magic Elements Pt. 2, you will need to exploit 15 enemy weaknesses. Just like Pt. 1, this can easily be done by using spells on enemies. If you have the First Strike Materia, which is obtained through completing The Stagger Effect Pt. 1, you'll be able to go into battle with an ATB gauge ready, allowing you to use magic right away to exploit weaknesses quicker.

For the most part, Human Enemies are weak to Fire, Biological Enemies are weak to Ice, and Mechanical Enemies are weak to Lightning.

You can tell an enemy's weakness by using the Assess Materia to scan it. Several Battle Reports require you to scan a certain number of enemies, so scanning enemies and finding their weaknesses will help you clear both reports simultaneously.

If you are having a hard time remembering what enemies you have exploited the weaknesses of, you can open up your Enemy intel and view all of the enemies you have battled with. Within Enemy Intel, there is a section called the Battle Log, which will tell you whether or not you have exploited their weaknesses before.
