The same guy, you replied to. I'm a die-hard fan myself and from what I see, we fans are jealous of you new ones. You all get to re-experience one of the best games fresh. Some of those fans might sound rude but do try and take their advice cause they're kinda low key telling u to stop checking things out to enjoy the game 100% spoiler-free. At least, that's how I see them, rude people atleast.

Opinions are always different. it's not so much as you're a diehard fan or a new one. it's just that we're different people and each people has their likes and dislikes.
Well Nomura said there'd be days like this. It's healthy there are fans as dedicated as these, but it's regrettable that fans can shoot the other down instead of having enlightened discussions.
What I'm seeing in this board is a general resistance in change. There's such a thing as 'artistic expression' in movies. I just wanted to say that no matter what the movies may portray, the games will always be a different direction. There's no need for in-fighting among fans. Just my two cents.

I remember every single Sony event we'd all pray for a Remake showing and we always came out disappointed. But now its finally here.
I love how poeple aren't mentioning dirge of cerberus. Why show no love to Vincent our vampire boi. And we should probably imitate the guy. Sleeping in his coffin until part 2 comes out.
Fast indeed, fast indeed. my child self actually thought that the remake was official so I went made (13 yrs old at the time) Was rioting in our living room and smashed on of my uncle's figurine. Was banned from the ps3 for a month.
Is there a possibility that a new handheld is in the works? I know Sony probably failed in this department, but the release of this game...I don't know. It could call for a new handheld.
From Crisis Core to this. How does that make gamers feel? It's like their prayers have been heard by the gamer gods themselves.
Oh yeah. Were now going play the VII remake this month and it's got me thinking about those days too.
What I remember is that all those years ago, the PlayStation 3 played a demo of the game on it. How time flies indeed.
Then why not check out articles about the movie itself? That would be way way easier right? Also, no arguments like the one that happened below.

I kinda understand you man. Long time FF fan here. The movie's plot is kinda meh, but the fight scenes I remember are still epic. Specially since its a 2005 movie and will definitely relive some memories. But if you want memories from the remake then the game is definitely the way to go. For the one that was asking about the movie, maybe a short google search would suffice and yea you're free to watch the movie if u like. Let's enjoy the remake peeps.

well i gotta agree. what i meant by good direction and animation is not like matching (in a physical sense) but the smoothness of movements of the characters and how the background (production design) complimenting the overall appearance of the what's happening around the character.

The promotion team did lots of works here. you can see that from the FF7 remake trailers. And, we keep on getting more as we get near the date of release. There social media pages tease us with photos and videos, can;t get enough.
Few more days to go.. I still remember the days that a lot of us hoping for a remake, and now its nearly here.

Oh, I see some rude comments here, yall better chile tf out, this is just a game, let's enjoy it! let everyone enjoy it, let them be on how they will enjoy this remake. Not everyone here is/are gamers, some are beginners some are not, so I suggest we should watch our language. Also, kudos to the whole wiki! just saw this website because my friend shared this! Keep up! will keep coming back for this wiki when I got the full game! :)
