that might be the case but honestly at first interaction, really thought tifa & cloud have that romance spark. but, doesn't seem the case.

we can all sense that in hollow. sounds like cloud is without a doubt in love with aerith.
That might be the gist of it.
and you said it yourself, if just happen in the "planning session" and that the actual finished, concrete game.. then, most likely, they no longer want to imply such.
Hmm.. But before the final prod, Square stated there were plans for a scene where Cloud and Tifa would be shown exiting the Highwind the day before the Sephiroth battle together. Their plan was to point out an implication that Cloud and Tifa had romantically spent the night together.
about the who cloud end up with? so basically, it just doesn't work well. Tifa loves Cloud but Cloud loves Aerith. Aerith only sees Zack in Cloud, so somehow the reason why she's attracted to Cloud but Aerith in truth loves Zack. So Clouds ends up with no one.. And that's where Hollow is about. 🤔

i would even go as far as sisters or brothers if that's how i felt.. you can treat your extreme close friends as sisters/brothers.

Yes, I agree with the Childhood Friends concept. Some misinterpret if you say childhood friends. A friend who's very close to you during your childhood. If it were be, I wouldn't refer to our relationship as JUST childhood friends but rather Best friends.

Not related to all tifa & aerith discussion... but just read Tifa & Cloud aren't that close as childhood friends.
Right. If you're a girl, it doesn't mean you should act like one according to context. She's a great portrayal. I should say.
