Every discussion about ff7 ending be like.
You can clearly see that on any discussion on any place on the net. And there's no clear winner. Everyone's opinion is so divided that it makes me question why square did it.
This is another worthy option. The devs clearly lied by saying this game will unite the old and new by retelling the story of the original in HD.
Don't know if I agree that it should've been called something completely different I think it should still be called FF7 but it should be honest that it's not a faithful remake of the original. Definitely shouldn't have remake in the title
Game is good but there are several other games that gives me more fun and satisfaction. The factor im looking for in this game is the nostalgia in HD. Nostalgia in the entirety of the series, not just midgar.
Was once excited for it but after what happened to the ending of part 1, I'll hold off my purchase. If the story greatly changes on part 2 then im not buying it. Im buying the ff7 remake not the ff7 what if.
A prime living example that square should have just made this a different game and not the ff7 remake. Game is pretty good IMO. If they didnt call it ff7 remake and just something else then I would be praising this game mad as well.
If it had the same demo and the same trailers, I would. I knew nothing about FF7 beforehand, but the stuff they put out convinced me to get it
Because the way the game is playing out right now. This game is clearly ff7 but the future installments might not be anymore.
If square made a game that features orbs that contain magic, ghosts that alter timelines, a boy that thinks hes a soldier, and a group that tries to crush a powerplant company but the game released is only like 25% of the whole game and isnt titled ff7. Would you buy it?
Cant really make a best weapon choice. All weapons have their own specialties. The nailbat for example, hits like a truck nut has no materia slots. Balance out the amount of materia you need for your characters for every situation.
Just adding dodge slash to his kit already makes him so worth. Partner in an HP absorb and youll just roll in the battlefield everyday.
I like Cloud and Tifa better too, but the remake really puts forward the Cloud/Jessie ship so I'm conflicted
Auto cure sucks. It just does a command automatically which you can do yourself. Still uses an atb, still uses mp. Literally just uses it automatically.
It's alright, but if you're really having trouble, there's an easy mode and even a pseudo-turnbased mode called classic mode
Hi! Just wondering, how difficult is the game? Haven't had a chance to play the demo or the game yet at all, and I'm not that good with action stuff
yeah we don't mean to scare people off but we just want the best experience for new players.
I think the scary people mean well but they aren't putting it very nicely haha. Play the game! I'm sure you'll have a blast :)
It depends on the weapon. Each weapon before you maxed out is sometimes capable of two things rather than just one. For example, if you see a lot of speed+ and MP+ on a weapon for tifa, that lets you use her especially for being able to quickly cast magic. But said weapon I’m referring to, Sonic Strikers, can also be built up to be a physical ATB boosting, elemental Materia weapon. I tend to take all the weapons and specialize them to expand Tifa and Barret’s roles. Not limit them.
hi everyone,i wanted know your opinion: i know cloud is good to be invested for attacking ability and aerith for healing and casting magic.so for tifa and barret what should i focus on? i mean when i upgrade their weapon i should focus on healing or attacking abilities or increaseing their MP?ATB?or HP? and which are the best materia to allways load them up with usually?
I agree.. its easier to use too..
Hmm. I'm not a magic booster type.. So I use Nail Bat. If you want to focus on physical attack and critical damage, try Nail Bat.

If you want Cloud to be a tanky character with magic support, then go for Iron Blade.
Its Iron Blade for me.. it slashes three enemies in quick succession and deals more damage with each blow.. so yeah
Tifa is an incredible speed attacker. if you want to keep the attacks coming, consider tifa in your party. and yeah she mostly play support to cloud. cloud and tifa can keep the multiple attacks coming.
It really depends on your playstyle.. Buster Sword is great, its an all-rounder weapon for Cloud and focuses on physical attack power.
i agree with the LB part. it's taking forever. but yeah, he's a good tank. Also consider equipping the Barrier materia for this character.
speaking of weapon, anyone who knows the best weapon for cloud?
Ohhhh Aerith is really pretty too <3 Well ofc, they couldn't have the same purpose, every character should be diverse. They have their own personality, ability and stand in battle :)
