I believe part 3 comes out this year.
I think I have an idea on what this game is. Not mentioning anything but yeah it is great. Cant escape people's judging eyes though.
Like hey dude, if you dont do something, you're dead ass. And I know its actually jenova now and not seph but he looks like seph so im still calling him that.
There's even someone saying that the real sephiroth used the power of the lifestream to impart his knowledge to the sephiroth of this era. And the one changing desti ies is the real seph to avoid his future demise.
He disnt really emerge or arrive per se. The lifestream just followed it flow and carried seph with it. It just happens that the flow goes to the north crater.
I play this r 18 game that's like 10 yrs old or something. Saying its the ff7 of r18 games is not an understatement and they're now making an rpg game (yes the original is not a pure rpg) with a different timeline and honestly, it was one of the best experiences ever. Same reason why im looking forward to the altered story.
havent played the game yet so im not sure how you fought him in the end but there are theories that 1. Following the original, the seph you fight is a clone. 2. He is the real sephiroth hence why the events of the game are attempting to change due to the ripple effect. ( hojo tries to say clouds origin, existence of whispers, etc.) 3. Unknown reason but will probably be explained but you can expect thats its bs invented by nomura.
I have a lot of faith in the team right now because of how good part 1 was, so I'm really hoping they do something creative with the timelines
Same reason that the seph you find there is completely different from all the sepgirotha you wncounter midway through your journey. 6 winged angel?
Original game spoiler. He fell in the life stream. Remember cloud and barrets dialogue on the part 1 of remake? I wonder what happens when you fall into the mako down there (looking at the bottom of the reactor). He fell and half died. His body is dead but his conciousness is there. He emerged and absorbed thr mako similar to a materia and managed to arrive on the northern crater. The seph you see is just a clone being manipulated by the half dead sephiroth.
I wonder how many parts there are going to be? I know there were 3 discs in the original game, but since part 1 only covered a part of disc 1, I wonder how they'll split up the rest of the story
Seen a lot of negativity surrounding the changes to the story but I'm actually pretty excited to see where things are going
I dont think it is but if it is true then square will have a lot of options to go with now. Specially with how theyre playing with timelines, zack, a living angeal and genesis, all these possibilities appear. All in exchange for a 100% reimagination. Only time will tell if it works though.
Is that true? So theres 2 sephs in this game? Havent played it yet.
Looking forward to the new storyline. Seeing the real seph go to this game is pretty nice tbh.
Agree. You can't please everyone.. This remake being episodic is fine with me but will not for others.. and that's the fact.. I just hope that the upcoming parts will not be just for PS5.
That’s my view on remakes in general. I'm sure they've seen some parts lacking in the original too that's why they will do their best in this remake.
They know that FFVII is the best game in the franchise that.. I think they will not screw this up.. Though I'm sure its impossible to have the 100% audience.
I do hope too.. I really like that they're expanding the story. Just hoping that it will be very aligned with the original one..
Agree! Now we will not just imply what happens in some instances where the game will skip over particular events, instead they will show us what's the whole story of FFVII! And I can wait for that..
But that's the exciting part! Its like watching an Anime or a TV Series. XD I just hope the next part will be great..
Yessss! Everything is cool and sexy! I already finished it. Its just sad that the story is on hold and I need to wait for part two since this is episodic.
I've never played a Final Fantasy game. Just finished Chapter 1 and I say it's really EPIC! I'm playing on Normal mode and it's more than fair.. This game is a real treat!
The battle system and music were always my favorite part! The story was always the weakest link for me. So even though I grew up with this game I don't really mind the changes they did with the storyline. I still loved it!
Yes! All I expected was I get to see all the characters from the original, and the locations.. But this is more.. I loved it!
Even the story is great! I really liked it! I like that they changed the story around but re-imagine the source material with new things in it.

Never played the original, about 5 hours in to this and I gotta say. I'm in love with Jessie..
And Wedge sounds like Badger from Breaking Bad XD
Me too! Not just the themes and battle music, even the voices! Barret sounds like Robert Downey Jr. <3
