Am I the only one not liking how they forced a no item run on hardmode? Its like they removed a feature of the game to make it "hard". Dont get me wrong, I like challenges but I dont like it being forced on me.
I imagine they're fishes that grew legs and just managed to get a knife from who know's where.

Been meaning to ask for a long time but. What are tonberries? Are they shell-less turtles with a knife?
They have a threqd here about games dimilar to ff7. The listed games there strayed from the thread's idea but there are a few gems there.

Its because of thise eyes that jessie took like 20% of the story's screen time via flirting with cloud.

Isnt it good that how jessie got attracted to him too much is also due to him faking his zack identity? Thinking like this, jessie didnt really like cloud, he liked zack.
What really made ff7 amazing is the fact that the 2 main characters suffers from identity crisis. Seph fights believing he is an ancient and his beloved mother died tragically. Cloud fights thinking he's some bad assguy in the past when in fact, he's just a normal grunt, like the other shinra grunts you killed without any second thoughts.
So what now? Game is like the first 5 hours of the original. When are the next parts coming out?
if i were you, just go ahead and check the wiki's how to beat pages. easier that way, instead of assess materia, i would use a materia to build my characters physical/magic attacks and defense. But, have it your way, just a suggestion.
not sure about that.. but we can always scan enemy weaknesses using the assess materia
Free lets you deal AOE damage rather than Fixed. It feels smoother playing at Free setting. You can control where you want to land your attacks.

it's better to have a fixed set then?
Here, setting your Combo Targeting as Fixed - You locked on attacking the same target until the combo finishes Free - You can switch targets mid combo, no problem

not a fan of Corneo Colosseum.. do i missed something excluding the rewards (i mean in a story sense), if i skip challenging this?
Have you guys changed your combo targeting setting from Fixed to FREE?
