I got the waterfall in the back island. It seems water bugs are very common there. Like they are the only bug.

I got a island that was basically normal except all the small sized fish i caught were always the butterfly fish.

I recently got to an island with a large pond full of koi and crawfish. Is this another special island?

Hoping someone else can help verify this to add to hybrid flower islands: Sea fish generated are all Red Snapper sized or larger. Doesn't mean you won't catch rubbish fish like Sea Bass but every time I've visited one I've fished until my bag is full of Oarfish, Tuna, Blue Marlins, etc. Fish in the ponds/rivers have always been large too.

Got the spiral island. There was exactly one fossil located along the spiral, looking back I’m pretty sure it was an Ophthalmo Skull. I managed to catch 2 oarfish (with one fish between the 2 catches !!) while I was there.

There’s a trash island. Not a single fish I reeled in was an actual fish, just garbage.

I love bamboo island to catch tarantulas. Just caught 40 in an hour.

If you smash the rocks on the money island you get 8000 bells per rock vs 3500 by just hitting it

I went to an island that only had Atlas Moths, Man-faced stink bugs, mole crickets, and stinkbugs. There were fish, but I ignored them once I figured out that I could make a fortune with the atlas moths and man-faced stink bugs. I just scared away the other bugs.
