What is Virus Damage?

Similar to the 'Poison' status effect in Role-Playing Games, Virus Damage in ALICE Fiction damages an enemy over the course of a battle. This will make them easier to kill in succeeding turns or even get rid of them outright if their HP is low enough.

Folklore that Deal Virus Damage

Viviane

Both of Viviane's Active Skills and her Passive Skill are related to dealing Virus Damage. 'The Return of the Sword' Active Skill deals Virus Damage to two enemies, while the 'A Guide to Avalon' Active Skill and 'Lady of the Lake' Passive Skill grant the Virus Slayer buff to herself and allies.

Folklore that have the Virus Slayer buff deal more damage against enemies afflicted with Virus. This makes the enemy even easier to get rid of.

Hannibal

Hannibal also inflicts powerful Virus Damage on enemies. Her Crash Skill, Thunderbolt of Carthage, as well as her second Active Skill Blessings of Baal infect enemies and damage them for three consecutive turns.

Her Passive Skill, the Greatest Commander, also boosts the chance of inflicting Virus as long as she has another Debuff-type Folklore with her in battle.

Virus Damage Strategy

Inflict Virus on an Enemy and Use the Virus Slayer Buff

While inflicting enemies with Virus is helpful enough in battle, granting your Folklore the Virus Slayer buff will make sure those enemies are dispatched quickly.

Using a party comprised of Viviane, a DPS-focused Folklore, a tanky Folklore and a healer/support Folklore or Hannibal will see enemies get inflicted with Virus Damage before being dispatched in quick turn by Folklore with the Virus Slayer buff.
