Things to Do At Great Fairy Fountains
Fully Replenish Your Hearts
Great Faries in Link's Awakening will refill your hearts when spoken to. This comes in especially useful when playing on Hero Mode, as enemies will not drop hearts. Being familiar with the Great Fairy locations will give you an easy way to heal when low on hearts.
Change Tunics at the Color Dungeon
Upon clearing the Color Dungeon, you will be able to speak with the Fairy Queen, who allows you to change tunics when speaking with her. The Red Mail allows you to deal more damage, while the Blue Mail reduces the damage you receive. Speak with her again at any time to change between tunics!
