Speardovich will ask you to give to give up your Star Piece in exchange for the Seaside Elder's freedom in Super Mario RPG Remake. Read on to learn if you should give the Star to Speardovich, as well as the different rewards the Elder will give you in this guide!
Giving up the Star immediately prevents the Elder from being tickled by Speardovich and his minions.
The number of times that you refuse to give up the star affects the reward the Elder will give you after defeating Speardovich, so it is best to give it right away to receive a Flower Box by the end.
The game will repeatedly ask you to give the star to Speardovich, and each time you refuse, they will just continue tickling the elder until you give up the star.
Regardless of how many times you refuse, the Speardovich boss battle will still ensue, so aim for the best reward instead!
How to Beat Speardovich and Rewards

The Reward the Elder will give you will depend on how many times he has been tickled before you give up the Star to rescue him. The more times the Elder has been tickled, the worse the reward you will receive.
Giving up the Star immediately gives the best reward, which is a Flower Box, which increases your party's FP by 5, while letting the Elder be tickled three or more times will result in him giving you only 1 Coin for your troubles.
