Interact With Anything

Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar - Talking with Sophie
The in-game clock stops when you talk to any of the villagers or interact with any item, like Windmills, signboards, storage house, bag, and more! This is helpful, especially when you need to choose the correct dialogue option to increase your Friendship Points with a character, or you need to pause.

Note that you cannot pause the game while fishing or running the bazaar.

Press the Pause Button

When taking breaks anywhere, stop the game by pressing the designated Pause button in the game. Pressing the Pause button will open a menu that will allow you to load a different Save file, check tips, go to the Title screen, and exit the game. You can only save inside your house, however.

Managing your time is very important in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar since 1 second in real life is equivalent to 1 minute in-game. To make sure that you do not waste even a single second, stop the in-game clock by pausing the game.

For Breaks

If you want to take a break from the game, make sure to pause the game. If you forget to pause the game, time will continue to flow and you might miss out on some events or your crops might die.
