|
Tail Cave, Angler's Tunnel, Catfish's Maw, Face Shrine, Turtle Rock | Sparks are invunerable to sword attacks. Use your boomerang to instantly kill them. They also drop Faries, so you can hunt Sparks later in the game to fill your Empty Bottles. |
Bubble
|
Kanalet Castle, Angler's Tunnel, Catfish's Maw, Eagle's Tower | Similar to Spark, using a boomerang will instantly kill a Bubble with a chance to drop a Fairy. You can use your shield to block the Bubble's attack. |
Giant Bubble
|
Face Shrine | Giant Bubble cannot be killed with any item. Run as fast as you can to evade them. |
Beamos
|
Turtle Rock | Always raise your shield on areas with Beamos. Deflecting a single laser will disable the Beamos for a long time. |
Blade Trap
|
Face Shrine, Eagle's Tower, Tail Cave | Use Roc's Feathers to jump over the Blade Trap or Pegasus Boots to cross even before the trap can move. Blocks can often be pushed in front of them to prevent their movement. |
Mega Thwomp
|
Key Cavern | Use the Pegasus Boots to deal enough damage to clear the blocked path. |
Rolling Spike Trap
|
Tail Cave, Turtle Rock | Use Roc's Feather to completely jump over the Rolling Spike Trap. |
Podoboo
|
Turtle Rock | Time your movement especially on ledges to prevent Podoboo from dealing damage. |
Spiked Thwomp
|
Angler's Tunnel | Use the Pegasus boots to run under Spiked Thwomp fast enough before it can hit. |
Thwomp
|
Face Shrine | Use the Pegasus boots to run under Thwomp fast enough before it can hit you. |
Flame Fountain
|
Tal Tal Mountain Range | After obtaining the Mirror Shield, hold R while walking toward the Fire Fountain to block the flames. Be sure not to turn your back to it or you will wake damage. Keep blocking with your side and move to the edge of the flames until you can safely walk past it. |
