Anyone remember the minigame about protecting the phoenix from the invaders???? Imagine that mini game in the remake. GO FORTH MY ARMY OF BOULDERSSSS
7 remake can hardly be called a hack n slash game. There are lots of jrpg elements incoeporated in it. And proper managemwnt of teams and abilities is also needed.
People around here definitely just played the recent games and calling themselves fans. Don't get me wrong, you guys are. Just that there are more dedicated fans that grew up with those ATBs you guys cant wait to fill up.

a breath of fresh air for the older players maybe. i used to love turn based games but now i prefer hack and slash games.
some people like the classic turnbased gameplay. im not sure why did they removed it on the newer ff games
no one has time to wait for turns now.

Imagine being new to FF, started playing the latest games first, then as you try the older ones you start wondering "why the heck am I supposed to wait for my turn before attacking?"
Or play it from the latest to the oldest. lol
The others are right, the plots stands alone on their own. But it would really be a trip if you play them all chronologically. Would be like traveling through time lol
This guy gets it. It's just a matter of taste IMO, if you like playing older titles then any of the earlier FFs are still pretty good. But I highly suggest FF15.
I think FFs have different stories so playing, without faithfully following the numbers, would not affect much.
As long as you don't play FF2 first then any FF game is a good introduction to the franchise
Most (if not all) of the FF games have a unique plot on their own so there's nothing to miss out on the previous games. You can play the games in any order.
A solid 30-40 hours of gameplay, depending on how familiar you are with the original title
Hi guys, I actually haven't played any of the FF games before (but I'm an avid RPG gamer). Is this game a good introduction to the franchise? Or would I be better served playing the titles chronologically?
There is no chocobo forest in 7 lol. What they can possibly do is like the remiem temple racing in ffx but this time will be tracks around midgar.
Can we have chocobo quest in Midgar? Is it possible to trigger a chocobo quest here without going inside a chocobo forest?
