I know. Once tried indie dev and I know how hard they worked. The competition is also tough but the fact that they're willing to go throough all that proves how much they love games and thats where my respect lies.
And they might be working hard, looking for investors too. However, with investors though, they need to give a percent to their investor. It depends on the arrangement they come up with.

ofc, you'll feel more passion from them. god who knows how much poison (people want these, want that) have been poured into these AAA games before its released, especially those big brands, games with history. On the other hand, indie games have no obligation to go with the trend... they are more free compare to AAA. Can't really blame AAA though, but they still and will have the final decision in anything they create.
Its up to you. After seeing how people in this tread easily get offended by opinions, I dont care anymore. Do what you people want.
Oh no, i guess i should stay away from the remake then? and play the original instead. and sounds like you already know what happen in the remake so i'm taking that judgment into consideration. but what should i do?? i already bought a copy.. can't waste resources.. i'll play the original first.
Which is why they have fund raising and kickstarters. Check out games like octopath, hollowknight, and deadcells. Those games are so lit but the people behind it are so few in numbers. I feel the passion of gamedevelopment from them, not from these triple A companies that are drowning in the publics pleas
i'm giving indie games a chance, too. they too have several promising concepts. most indie studios are low in budget though. i wonder how they're coping up with the game industry? not to mention, the industry need a lot of money investment and such..
It is bad news. Us old time fans are already upset but what about the new fans? They'll end up thinking all of these happened in the original TOO. When in fact, these major asspulls never happened in the first place. Guess I just have to let my friends play the original instead for them to experience the true masterpiece cause the remake clearly aint doing it justice with major plotpoints changed.
Me also wanting u to buy persona 5 royal cause its a basic NEED.

X is the best final fantasy made. I call it, the last squaresoft game.

Wow! wish everyone has a holiday... if i were given the chance, i'd most likely lock myself up in my room and play games all day and maybe some anime too.. speaking of playing games, arghh... April 10 is coming!!! EXCITED for FF7 remake!!!

Mitsuda doesnt work on games exclusively. After he left square, he made his own studio.
