As long as your Folklore are decently-leveled, this battle should be easy enough to beat on Auto Mode with most party setups. But the Bright Monas could make it harder than it should be, so make sure to prioritize taking them off the field first.

The TC11 Skinny-R will try to stall for the rest of its allies by making itself the target of your attacks, but any Water-element Folklore in your team should be able to make quick work of it.
Eclipse, the anti-Queen organization - that was the true nature of this Institute. It rebels against the current system, which is said to collapse should anything happen to The Queen.
Agreeing with their goals, you decide to become a member of Eclipse in order to regain your lost memories and save Minato.

Chapter 04-06 is where we are introduced to the Veggie Tux, a Wood element version of the Luminas Tux. It has the ability to raise the defense of its allies on the field, making them tougher to kill. Prioritize getting rid of it first before the other pawns.
Now that you've become a member of Eclipse, you gain access to the training facility you had previously not been able to enter. Here, you watch Momochi and Andromeda in the middle of a combat simulation.
In an instant, they turn an unfavorable situation around, leading Neu to marvel at Momochi's strategy to lure the opponent, who had the advantage.

Veggie Tux | Bright Mona | TC11 Skinny-R |
Blue Garbage | Luminas Tux |
Two TC11 Skinny-R's and a Veggie Tux is a bad combination to face off with. Make sure to eliminate the Veggie Tux as quickly as possible before the Skinny-R's make themselves the targets of your attacks. If the Veggie Tux manages to buff them enough, you might end up losing the battle because you've run out of turns.
You run into Musashi while you are exploring the Waste Area with Neu. You inform her about having joined Eclipse, and ask what is going on because she looks so serious. She explains that a number of people from her organization, Tempest, have gone missing and she's currently trying to find them.

Veggie Tux | Blue Garbage | Luminas Tux |
Shadow Rally | Aqua Max | Trickle Rally |
The Trickle Rally will make its first appearance in its Quest, and it is not an easy foe to beat because of its ability to shorten your Attack Mode. This means you'll have less time to break panels and make powerful attacks. Take this pawn down first before the others.

Fire element Folklore should be able to make quick work of the Luminas Tux, and the rest of your foes should be easy enough to beat afterward.
You question Neu about Musashi and Tempest. You learn that they are part of an anti-Queen organization different from Eclipse. Then, a Folklore who goes by the name of Kanryusai of the Shinsengumi appears and warns you to leave the area immediately.

Veggie Tux | Brush Rally | Shadow Rally |
Yellow Garbage | Aqua Max | Emperor Tux |
The Emperor Tux, which is seemingly the bigger cousin to the Luminas and Veggie Tuxes you've been dealing with so far, is a Level 24 Fire element pawn that can raise both the attack and defense power of its allies on top of raising their critical rates. This means your party may end up receiving critical hits from Emperor Tux's weaker allies.
First off, make sure to bring along a Water element Folklore that can deal heavy damage to it such as Viviane. Her Virus skills can also go a long way in undermining the effectiveness of Emperor Tux's buffs. Archimedes is another heavy-hitting Water Element Folklore you can have with you in this fight, as her massive damage will wipe the floor with the Emperor Tux and its Fire element.
A large number of pawns released by Kanryusai put you and Neu in a tight spot, but you are both saved by Musashi rushing into the scene to help you. Toshizo of the Shinsengumi shows up, holding onto some memory data. Musashi crosses blades with her, but in the end she escapes.

Emperor Tux |
Be a bit wary; the Emperor Tux here is at Level 30, so strengthen your Folklore appropriately. Apart from this though, the strategies in Normal Mode still apply. Bring along Water element Folklore, bring heavy damage dealers, and even try to take the boss down first before the pawns.
Note: These characters are highly effective in this Chapter, but are not necessary to clear the story. If you can manage to get any of these characters, particularly the 3★ characters, your team will be significantly more capable.
Character | Type | Reason |
---|---|---|
Archimedes
★★★ |
Atk/Spec |
• One of the best Water-element characters you can get. Archimedes will act in the fight against Emperor Tux as the main DPS of your team. |
Best World Memory: | Siesta Dreams | |
Ushiwakamaru
★★★ |
Atk/Phys |
• Keep Ushiwakamaru as a secondary DPS in this fight, and remember to use her Phys. Def debuffs. |
Best World Memory: | Folklore's Day Off | |
Kojiro
★★ |
Buff/Phys |
• Kojiro is in the team as a backup DPS and also for her Phys. Atk buffs. |
Best World Memory: | 5 Minutes Before | |
Lancelot
★★★ |
Atk/Phys |
• Lancelot is your main DPS along with Archimedes, specifically because of her 'Duel of Substitutes' skill that grants herself the 'Buff-type Slayer' perk. This gives her increased damage against Buff-type enemies (including the Emperor Tux). |
