Character Reason
ALICE Fiction- Longinus Icon Longinus Longinus and Scipio can work well together because of Scipio's ability to boost her defense and set up a barrier. Longinus also goes toward fulfilling Scipio's passive, which boosts the party's Phys. and Spec. Def if there's at least one other Buff-type and Light Element Folklore on the field.
ALICE Fiction- Joan Icon Joan Joan is another good ally to team up with Scipio, as she contributes to fulfilling the requirements for Scipio’s passive as Joan is a Buff-type character. Joan’s Phys. Atk as well as that of her allies also increase if there are more Buff-type Folklore in the party.
ALICE Fiction- Cleopatra Icon Cleopatra Scipio would also do great with Cleopatra and other units that have powerful attacks but also relatively low defense since Scipio can grant barriers that can block damage to x3 party members.

Scipio Profile and Backstory

Story
1 Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus was a Roman general and statesman around the 2nd century BC who played a vital role during the latter half of the Second Punic War.
2 Born in 236 BC to the influential Scipio family of the Roman Republic, the young Scipio gained a good reputation due to his devout attendance at the temple and was recommended for a place at the Senate.
His military career is considered to have begun around the age of 17 when the Second Punic War broke out and he enlisted to fight. As Rome continued to be overwhelmed by the Carthaginian forces, Scipio came face to face with the military prowess of the enemy general Hannibal.
Though Scipio lost those who were near and dear to him, he gathered what remained of the Roman forces to make a valiant stand against the enemy. Following his achievements, Scipio was specially selected to command an army at the young age of 25.
