Kojiro Best Character Pairings

Character	Reason
Musashi	Kojiro provides one of the best Phys. Atk. buff skills in the game, which is why pairing her up with DPS characters allows you to maximize her abilities. Musashi is an ideal pairing with Kojiro since she can just deal even more damage that can take out enemies in a few turns.
Lancelot	Lancelot is another DPS you can pair up with Kojiro. You can build a party around Lancelot and Kojiro, along with some Earth characters, to maximize the Phys. Atk. buffs that both of them have.
Ushiwakamaru	Kojiro paired with Ushiwakamaru is another great option, esepcially if you want a multi-target character in your party. Ushiwakamaru's ability to deal damage to multiple enemies just becomes stronger with Kojiro, givine you a great party pairing to use in quests or Battle Arena.

	Story
1	A swordfighter from the Azuchi-Momoyama era. Known for creating the Swallow's Return technique while training, he fathered the Ganryu (large rock style) fighting style. His favorite sword was a nodachi, almost a meter in length, which he called "monohoshizao" (the clothes drying rod).
2	Not only is Kojiro's birthplace uncertain--with some believing it to be Buzen Province, for example, and others Echigo--his birthdate and time of death are also disputed. In terms of his swordsmanship, some say he trained under Chujo-style practitioner Seigen Toda, or even Toda's student Jisai Kanemaki, who practiced Kanemaki-style. Regardless, the time leading up to him becoming an officer remains unclear. As an officer, he first served the Mori Clan of Aki Province, before departing to travel around and develop his skills as a swordfighter. It was during his time he created the Swallow's Return technique, as well as the Ganryu Style, the latter of which he named himself after. Later he was enlisted by the Kokura Domain, where he worked as a sword fighting instructor. On the Kokura Monument, which commemorates Musashi Miyamoto's life, only the name 'Ganryu' is inscribed and in the biography of Musashi written 130 years later, the name used is 'Kojiro Ganryu', with 'Kojiro Sasaki' featured only as a footnote. His birthplace, early history, and even Kojiro Sasaki's name are shrouded in mystery...
3	The manner of Kojiro's death is also keenly debated. According to Musashi's adopted son Iori Miyamoto, Musashi defeated him with a single strike of a wooden sword. However, a different version of events is reported in the 'Numatake-ki' (The Numata Family Record), which details the life of Nobumoto Numata, a retainer of the Kokura Domain whom Kojiro worked for as a sword-fighting instructor. According to that account, Musashi dueled Kojiro but was unable to finish him off. After Kojiro came to, despite the warriors' agreement that the fight would remain one versus one, the students of Musashi went to Ganryu-Jima and slaughtered their master's opponent. In yet another version of events, fishermen were said to have spotted Musashi's students and stopped them from attacking Kojiro; however, the swordfighter challenged them to a duel anyway, declaring their machinations a disgrace to the warrior name. Outnumbered, he lost. Ganryu-Jima was originally called Funa-Jima, but it's said the fishermen who stopped Musashi's students changed its name to the eponymous swordsman as a mark of respect and erected a tombstone. The Kojiro in ALICE has begun an outdoor sword fighting class for children, in the hopes of resurrecting the Ganryu style.
