Get the best Folklore in ALICE Fiction using our reroll guide! Read on to learn about the best characters to reroll for in the Gacha Banners, and how to reroll and get the character you want!
List of Contents
Rerolling for the best characters may be slightly time-consuming, but is worth it if you manage to get the perfect 3-star characters for your team in the early game. Here are the 3-star characters you'll want to try rerolling for:
If you're starting and want to reroll for your favorite folklore, you can simply draw from the Tutorial Gacha and use up the gift Quartz you have received by drawing from the Featured or Rare Gacha. If you didn't get any of your preferred Folklore, you can simply delete your Player Data and start again.
As long as ALICE Fiction is not uninstalled from your phone, the game will allow you to skip ahead to the Tutorial Gacha section, speeding up your rerolling process.
The Rare Character Gacha will probably be the Gacha Banner that you'll use the most in ALICE Fiction. Here, all Folklore have their own draw rates, while those who are in 2-star rarity and above have Guaranteed Draw Rates that take effect the 10th draw.
How Does the Gacha System Work?
Best characters with highest DPS or utility and can generally clear most Main Quests in the game, or win most fights in the Battle Arena. Getting at least one of them will make sure you'll have a good time playing ALICE Fiction. | |
Characters that offer an extremely high degree of utility, although may not necessarily deal a lot of damage and may be more situational than SS-tier characters. They're not as essential as SS-tier characters, but having them around will make your party much stronger. | |
A-tier characters are characters that have average damage potential (unless in specific situations) but can offer support or synergize with other characters to increase their attack and defense stats. If you don't get these characters, you wouldn't need to reroll. | |
B-tier characters are either too situational or non-essential to consider rerolling for. Though they are still valuable if you somehow get them, you can rest easy not having them. |
Character | Tier Placement Reasoning |
---|---|
Ushiwakamaru | •Can damage 4 enemies at once, making her ideal for taking out many enemies at once. •Debuffs both the Phys. Atk and Phys. Def of multiple enemies, blunting their damage against your party. •Her passive skill makes her stronger if 4 enemies remain in battle. •Essential in both PvE and PvP, Ushiwakamaru is one of the game's must-have characters. |
Archimedes | •Crash skill deals high damage but is spread across two targets. •Has access to a barrier skill that can block a certain amount of damage. •Passive is an automatic massive boost to Spec. Atk. with no conditions. •Another character that's great to have on your team, as her self-buffs and passive come with no requirements whatsoever. This makes her flexible for placement in most party setups unless you're facing Earth-element enemies. |
Musashi | •Crash Skill at max level deals 38K+ damage. •Active Skill 1 can convert up to 9 of Musashi's panels and boosts her Phys. Atk. for 4 turns. •Active Skill 2 can convert up to 5 of an ally's panels into Musashi's panels, adds 3 seconds to the panel breaking phase, and gives a Defense-type Slayer buff. But this comes at the cost of 20% of her phys. def. •Passive greatly increases Phys. Atk. if Musashi is the only Attack-type ally. • One of the 3-star characters you'll want to get the most, as her high DPS make her useful in both PvE and PvP. |
Lancelot | •Can deal a high amount of damage to one target. •Can self-buff Phys. Atk. •Has access to Buff-type Slayer skill. •Passive boosts Phys. Atk. when there are 3 Earth allies. •Similar to Musashi in that her Crash Skill is strong against Defense types. Get her especially if you need someone with high DPS to face off against powerful Water element enemies like certain bosses in the Main Quest and Underground. |
Character | Tier Placement Reasoning |
---|---|
Qin Shi Huang | •High single target Phys./Earth DPS. •Has a Crash Skill and Active Skill that Debuff an enemy's phys. def. •His second Active Skill boosts his own Phys. Atk and makes enemies receive more damage. •His Passive Skill decreases his Quest-related enemy's Phys. Atk but activates only when there are 2 or more Earth element allies in his party. •One of the best Debuff-type folklore to get early on when you're coming up against Physical-type enemies in PvE or PvP. |
Hippocrates | •Heals 1 ally with Crash Skill, although deals low damage to enemy targets. •Can remove defense debuffs and buff both Phys. and Spec. Def. •Can turn one of her own panels into a Skill Panel for an easy Crash Skill heal. •Getting your characters healed per turn is a good way of lasting through PvE content such as the Main Quest and Underground, especially since it avoids the long cooldowns associated with other Healers like Asclepius. |
Asclepius | •Crash Skill deals low damage but can remove all attack debuffs from 1 ally. •Can heal all active party members at once. •Also has a single target heal skill that removes debuffs. •Passive boosts HP recovery rate of 4 allies when there are 4 enemies. •Though one of the best healers in the game, her skills are hobbled by long cooldowns which may spell the difference between winning and failing an Underground run. |
Rousseau | •Crash Skill deals high damage to one target and boosts the Spec. Atk. of 1 ally except for self. •Can buff Spec. Atk. of 3 allies for 2 turns. •Can give 2 high Spec. Atk. allies the Attack-type Slayer ability. •Passive boosts Spec. Atk. of 4 allies if they are all the Special-type. •Will be most effective in a party composed of other Special-type Folklore like Nietzsche and Cleopatra, as well as Special-type Debuff characters like Wang. |
Amadeus | •Crash Skill deals heavy damage against a single enemy. •Can also decrease the Spec. Def of her enemies, making them vulnerable to attacks from her allies. •Has a 60% chance to inflict Skill Bind on enemies, preventing them from using powerful skills. •Almost a Special-type equivalent of Qin Shi Huang, Amadeus will be much more of use in later PvE content where you have to go up against Special-type enemies. |
Character | Tier Placement Reasoning |
---|---|
Joan | •Aside from dealing heavy damage with her Crash Skill, Joan can also boost the Phys. Atk power of her team depending on how many Dark element or Buff-type allies are present. •The same mechanic can also increase her own Phys. Atk power and lengthen the Attack Mode phase during turns. |
Surtr | •Crash Skill deals high damage but is spread across 3 targets. Gives Surtr Burning Slayer and Oil Slayer effect. •Active Skill 1 inflicts 2 enemies with Burn. Active Skill 2 boosts Surtr's Phys. Atk. for 2 turns every time a Fire-type ally on the field activates a skill. •Passive boosts Phys. Atk. of self when at least 1 Wood-type enemy is on the field. |
Hercules | •Her Crash Skill inflicts damage on three enemies in one turn, making her deadly to a full party of enemies. •Her first Active Skill increases her own Phys. Def while decreasing the Phys. Atk stats of her enemies, blunting their attacks on her allies. •Grants a barrier that blocks a certain amount of damage to herself and another ally. •Her Passive Skill increases her Phys. Atk if her phys. def stat is up as well. |
Faust | •A Dark-element anti-Light specialist because of her 'Light Slayer' buff. •Her first Active Skill boosts both her HP Absorb and Spec. Atk, though it comes at the cost of 30% of her HP. •Although Faust can be useful with the right WMs and supporting characters, it would be better to reroll for other DPS characters like Musashi, Ushiwakamaru, or Archimedes. |
Toshizo | •Toshizo acts similarly to Ushiwakamaru in that her Crash Skill can hit three opponents at once, and both have moves that decrease enemy Phys. Def. Toshizo may need a healer though, as her second Active Skill gives her a 'Decreased Stats' slayer buff in exchange for 20% of her HP. |
Character | Tier Placement Reasoning |
---|---|
Longinus | •Crash Skill deals high damage to a single target. •Can convert one ally's panels into her own panels and boost Phys. Atk. •Can convert 2 of her own panels into her own Skill Panels and boost Phys. Def. •Passive boosts Crash Skill of self for each of her own broken panels (up to 12). |
Kenshin | •Crash Skill deals low damage. •Can buff a single ally and reduce damage taken regardless of type for 1 turn while at the same time boosting their Phys. Def. for 3 turns. •Can further reduce damage taken regardless of type with Active Skill 2. •Can be effective in a party with other Defense-type allies like Benkei and Perseus, but there are other characters of lower rarity who can do what she does. |
