Use Anima Medals and Credits

To raise your Folklore's Star Level or rarity, you will need to collect a certain amount of the Folklore's Anima Medals as well as pay a certain amount of credits. The amount of Anima Medals and credits needed varies depending on your Folklore's base rarity.

Pick the Folklore you want to ascend in the Character Menu and select the 'Rarity' tab. The option to ascend will be in the bottom half of the menu. You'll be shown the Anima Medal cost as well as the credits needed before the process is completed.

After ascension, you will also be shown your Folklore's new stats.

Ascension Makes Folklore Stronger

Raising your Folklore's Rarity through Ascension not only makes it rarer, but it also raises its main stats like HP, Phys. Atk., Phys. Def., and Critical Rates. This means, even a 1★ Folklore can become a 5★ Folklore with time and effort.

Coupled with Grading Up and unlocking new Skills, a fully-ascended Folklore is a powerful asset for any Contractor.
