The very same Loaner Deck players got from last year's the Theme Chronicle Event, this Plunder Patroll Deck is still good, and even got better thanks to Plunder Patrollship Jorn. Its ability to summon even on the opponent's turn can disrupt the opponent to victory.

While it doesn't have access to the P.U.N.K. Engine, and not being featured at all in any Solo Mode Gate, Gold Star is relatively untouched for the Theme Chronicle Festival this year, allowing players that built Decks around it to fully test it out as they wish before bringing it to Ranked Duels.

Trickstar might not be featured in a Solo Mode Gate of their own, but they are relatively untouched for the event-exclusive banlist. Players can play them at full power, allowing the Deck's burn strategy to annoy lots of players into losses.

Crusadia was featured in one of the sub-gates of The Legend of the Star Heroes: The Secret Powers of the Planet. Their ability to Link Climb and continue to summon Link Monsters with higher Link Ratings lets them end Duels very quickly with their boss monsters with overwhelming ATK.

Gate Guardians managed to slip past the event's exclusive banlist, allowing all of its Fusion Monsters variants to be played as the player sees fit. It is as full-power as it can get, allowing quick Contact Fusions and Xyz Summons to overwhelm the field with powerful monsters.

An unorthodox Xyz Monster-centric Deck that circles around a Normal Monster as a centerpiece of their strategy, Suships seem like a complicated Deck to play. It's gotten one more support card since last year and some adjustments in the Extra Deck to give it more firepower, but the playstyle is basically the same.

Harpies might not have gotten a Solo Mode Gate in 2023 as well, but it somehow remained untouched for this event rerun. Its ease of access to Rank 4 Xyz monsters is now boosted with a few additions for more firepower, and it still has access to Cyber Slash Harpie Lady as one of the easiest Synchro Monsters to summon.

Somehow, the entire Ghoti lineup of cards made it out unscathed from the event's banlist. This card takes advantage of cards being banished, Special Summoning them the next turn and then using them into Synchro Summons.
