Xyz Festival Event Rewards, Rules, and Duration

Yugioh Master Duel hosts its first-ever Live event called the Xyz Festival! The Xyz Festival features a completely different ban list, new sweet rewards, and several rules that will spice up every game! Read on to see all the info related to the event and the events start and end date!

Rewards List

Each match during the festival gives you Medals you can use to exchange for different rewards. You get twice the Medals if you use an original deck. Additionally, you won't be rewarded if you surrender, so make sure to play each Duel through!

Xyz Festival Event Duration

The Xyz Festival event will start from February 17 until February 24. Furthermore, you can claim your rewards from February 24 until February 26.

Note: You can only claim your reward during the period mentioned above. So keep an eye on the date and claim your rewards!

This event follows a different rule for cards. During the Xyz Festival, your Extra Deck can only have Xyz Monsters. In addition, the limited card pool will also differ from the one we follow in ranked battles.

There are Decks that can be played purely with Xyz Monsters in the Extra Deck, and a number of archetypes specializes in Xyz Summoning!.

Play Via Suicide Decks

Duels usually take a long time especially with the current meta. While the rewards have already been updated to give more tickets to the duel's victor, it is still faster to farm Xyz festival points by playing decks whose goals are to lose. Play weak cards or cards that can self damage your LP like Ring of Destruction or Relay Soul hasten your lose streak!
