Players can start the quest when they receive the request in their missions list. Once you do, you can head to the ship docks towards bottom left of the Financial District to talk to Howard, a returning character from the previous game.

Spider-Man 2 - Take the Birds to Freedom

During a cutscene, Howard will have a slow conversation with you as you view the sights. Listen to the insights he has learned throughout his life as you look at the things he points at.

After the cutscene, he will ask you to set his bird friends free. Press Triangle to get the birds to follow you, then swing towards the checkpoints marked on the map and in-game.

Spider-Man 2 - Glide Across the River

When you arrive at Brooklyn Bridge, go underneath it, use your Web Wings to enter the jetstream, and glide across the river. As you keep swinging, eventually you will find a new home for the pidgeons to stay at a small park in Downtown Queens.

2. Return to Howard

Spider-Man 2 - Return to Howard

After you find a new home for the birds, you will transport back to where Howard was. Approach the ambulance in the area and talk to the paramedics there. Once you learn about what happened to Howard, you will complete the mission and earn the A New Adventure Trophy.
