I held L the whole time, ignored all the big guys except for a couple of groups I used special attacks. Just look at the map, focus on the small dots and hope for the best. This was good advice. After frustration, it ended up easier than I thought.

I'm a video game noob by all regards, i.e., I learn a few things, slowly, and mainly spam buttons. This level is frustrating, but not impossible. The ZR attack when surrounded by a crap ton of guardians and other flying things is your best friend. So is the shield, which you should use ANY time there isn't a ton of small mobs around. Use A when there's a bunch of big ground mobs who are surrounded by all the small mobs that rack up the tally to knock them out all at once. Got it on my 4th try.

Omg, thanks tried this meathod out and got it immediatley with a time of 4:23.

Every time I try I get to about 2000 K.O and run out of time/hearts. I've tried the level mutliple times and still can't beat it, meaning I can't finish the other quests. It's been nagging me for about 2 weeks now. halp ;-;

I completely agree. Thought I'd check online if I was missing something, but it seems it's just a retarded quest. I dislike the beasts anyway, and wish they would at least enable getting better weapons earlier, since it takes beyond the end of the game to max them. Kill kill kill, hope for good drop, hope for good drop, hope for good drop, all after the story is already done is pointless.

The only part of the game I haven’t been able to beat - it’s like the shield doesn’t work at all - I just get bombarded even though the shield is up through the whole battle

I just beat it on 3rd try. Easy mode, ignore all the big guys and just focus on spamming the tiny groups.

You have to constantly hold L and then press R repeatedly and circle around the whole time. Use your ZR and A attacks when they are ready, and as long as you hold your L you can basically ignore windblight

Its actually fucking impossible you get bombarded with a shit ton of lynels, flying guardians and turrets. Its fucking stupid
