Tripcasters are used to place different varieties of tripwires on the battlefield. When an enemy walks over the wire, it triggers an explosion or other type of effect depending on the ammo used.
How to Use a Tripcaster | |
---|---|
1. | Press and Hold the R2 button to aim, then realease it to place the first wire anchor. |
2. | Repeat the process to place the second wire anchor. |
3. | Lure enemies to the placed wire. |
Shieldwires are a unique type of tripwire because they can be used to cast protective shields on the ground. When the shield absorbs too much damage, it explodes.
How to Craft Shieldwires: Materials and Compatible Weapons
When upgraded, this weapon gains a perks which inflicts more damage on unaware enemies. It is best to use this weapon in stealth to make the most of its perk. You can increase the effectiveness of these perks by upgrading your weapon.
