Dovahkiin!
The remade mana game seems interesting.
No one mentioning bloodstained ritual of the night? Really gives that symphony of the night feel.
Its not yet release but im really looking forward to elden ring. Im sure its not a game i can clear without guides but its an rr martin story for a video game so im hella excited.
We cant really suggest a game similar to ff7 remake cause theres no game with such a polished battle system like this yet. But these list of rpg is really something. Let me add the breath of fire series here. A pretty old game but still a gem.
Since we're going to the classics. Just wanna suggest chrono trigger. A bad sequel for it is Chrono cross. A bad sequel ok? Not a bad game. In fact, its soundtrack is the best i heard over anygame up to this date.
A classic and a game that I also believe, deserves a remake as much as FF7 is Xenogears. But if they're having trouble remaking ff7 then they're gonna have a worse time with this one. Imagine ff7 graphics but your dudes ride huge ass mechas.
No honor on the great suikoden? That game doesnt really need a remake or remaster cause its still pure fire.
Breath of Fire is really good, especially 3 and 4.The battle system is turn-based so it's not like the remake, but the story's pretty great
Do you mean just the first one or its sequels too? I've only played Suikoden 2 and I love that game so much
You might like the Dissidia games. They're more like fighting games than they are RPGs but they're all still pretty cool
The fan base is divided for the sequels but almoat everyone is united on part 2 being the best. But they're all great games.
I actually liked part 2 on the gbc more than 3 but thats just me. 3 is amazing dont get me wrong. I just liked the feel of 2. Its pretty light.
They're definitely not the best fighting game around but still pretty good. I second this.
If you're looking for games with similarly expansive worlds, can't go wrong with the Trails games from the Legend of Heroes series. Literally every NPC has things going on in Trails in the Sky
