I have never had Weird Student appear twice on Old Metro and I was on the verge of losing my mind. But thank goodness she appeared often in Construction Ruins. Oh Thank goodness.

From my expirience: if you tried 10 times with no result it is probably you have already collected 3 items today. Wait till another day (after 24:00) and try again. If you have found a path where you need some money (in my case 2500) don't give up and collect all the coins this floor and go to the next you will find it there again. Good luck.
