How to Fix Event Tab Missing Error

Wait for the Scheduled Fix to Drop

Sledgehammer Games have announced that a fix has been scheduled for the Event Tab Missing error via their official Trello board. However, affected players will have to wait it out as they have yet to announce a definite schedule for the hotfix drop.

Event Progress is Counted but Cannot be Tracked

Affected players can play as normal since any event XP earned will still count towards event progress. However, you will not be able to track your progress until the Event Tab Missing error is officially fixed.

UI Bug That Prevents Event Progress Tracking

MW3 - Event Tab from Main Menu

The Event Tab Missing error is a UI bug that prevents players from opening the Event tab in the main menu of MW3. Any ongoing event that has a progress tracker for rewards will be inaccessible until the UI bug is fixed.

However, unlike previous bugs related to challenges, this error does not affect your event progress. While you won't be able to track your progress, it will still be counted when playing matches during the affected event's duration.
