Here's a list of all the available Biomes in Mage Arena! Check out all the biome's available items, NPCs, spells, as well as hidden areas in this guide!
List of All Biomes in Mage Arena
All 9 Biomes in Mage Arena
| Biome | Description |
|---|---|
 Base |
 The starting biome for all players. Contains Soup Man, Crafting table, as well as the resource point for captured biomes. |
 Gnome Forest |
 A forest inhabited by Gnomes. You can talk with the Gnomes to trade for an item on hand. |
 Lava Castle |
 A biome with a castle surrounded by Lava. There's usually a chest that contains spells in the castle. |
 Mausoleum (Cemetery) |
 A cemetery where the Mausoleum is located. You can find Excalibur in this Biome, but beware of the Skeletons roaming here. |
 Mushroom Biome |
 Home to Mushrooms that let players bounce on top of it, sending them high up in the sky. |
 Crystal Caverns |
 A biome filled with giant crystals with an underground cavern players can fight in. |
 Windy Mountains |
 A tall mountain that players can climb up to get to the Flag. Fierce winds can blow away players in this Biome. |
 Forest Fields |
 A biome with a lot of dead trees. |
 Frog Bog |
 A swampy forest where giant frogs lurk that can eat the player with their tongue. |
Here is a list of all 9 Biomes and what they look like in Mage Arena. Each session will have a set of randomly generated biomes, letting players have a different experience per session.

Water Cave
| Biome | Description |

 Secret Cave |
 A cave located at the northernmost point of the map. There is a red well inside but it has no specific functions. |
In addition to Mage Arena's nine biomes, there is also a secret cave located at the northernmost point of Mage Arena's map!

How to Capture a Biome
Find the Flag in the Center
To capture a Biome, you'll need to find the Flag, usually located at the center of each Biome. Once you find it, simply stand near the flag and it should raise the flag by itself.

Some Biomes Can't be Captured
Some Biomes are not capturable and instead give players an advantage by giving them spells, items, or weapons. In the Gnome Forest, you can trade with the Gnomes to get a different item from what you've traded.
What Are Biomes?
Areas With Different Level Mechanics
Biomes in Mage Arena are unique and have different mechanics that force players to change how they approach the flag.
For example, the Mushroom Biome has Mushrooms that players can jump on that bounce them back up in the air.
Find NPCs, Spells, and Items
Some NPCs, Items, or Spells can also be found in each of these different Biomes. A good NPC to search for would be the Knight in the Cemetery, who will tell you about Excalibur, which you can find inside the Mausoleum.
