The Spikethrower is a powerful weapon that delivers massive amounts of damage, especially when using Explosive ammo. They are best used against larger targets due to their high ammo cost. To penetrate armor, they must be thrown at full draw.

This weapon inflicts Fire damage on enemies, which causes the Burning state. The Burning State inflicts additional damage to enemies over time. Fire elemental damage is also more effective against some enemies.
This weapon uses Drill Spikes, which do additonal damage over time and also have higher tear, making them more ideal for tearing off components than other types of Spikes.
