and the difference between most sustains is like what? 1 cycle or 0.x on data sheets? As long as you have two limited sustains your good to go, I wish people would stop all this whos the better sustain debate when it doesn’t matter much.
tbh supports already have a lot of built in effect resist most of the time so his added in 50% basically makes them immune, it’s mainly the dps I worry about but even then I don’t think it’s much of a big deal. Also as it turns out he’s actually very sp positive, they changed his trace shield to have the same value of his skill when entering battle so all he needs is to skill once and then your set for the rest of the battle because of how quickly he stacks his shield from fua.

not as good is FX imo but maybe as good as HH as a second option? Idk FX is just way to valuable because she guarantees that JY won’t get cc’d while with Aventurine it’s a gamble. That said yeah, he isn’t as restrictive as people are making it seem and if they can increase his effect resist higher than he’ll be good.
I still remember the Argenti and blade, black swan and even dr ratio doom posts about them being weak or restrictive, as it turns out none of those were true, people really need to wait for a characters release before commenting on how bad they are. Still don’t get why people even listen to them when they’re proven wrong every single time
And yeah huo huo helps the dps do more dmg but the way I see it, aventurine while not buffing the dps dmg as much, contributes his own which in some cases makes the amount of cycles your team will take just as much as with huo huo. Also I don’t get why people are calling him sp negative, he’s natural just like huo huo and since most of his teams are either fua (who will have sp to spare) or dps using sparkle (Jing yuan) it ain’t much of a deal
as it turns out, aventurine is just as good as fu xuan in a Jing yuan team because of the synergy they have and the amount of things aventurine contributes. Sure 50% cc immunity isn’t ideal but it’s still pretty good along with the rest of the supports being there to help with taunts and yeah they might change it to be better. Ok top of it, aventurine also helps with Single target dmg and offers some better dmg here and there too

not just FUA, any dps who wants a sheilder or debuffs will also want him.

really? Iirc only two teams have fu xuan as their best sustain, mono q and Jing yuan cause for the rest of the teams your only using her if you don’t have any of the others. At least with Aventurine any fua dps has him as their best sustain. Huo huo is the only one with many teams due to her buffs but she loses in the comfort department.
beta hasn’t came in yet and we’re already in the doomposting phase, at least wait for the finalized kit, didnt fu xuan and huo huo also start with horrible cc abilities? And naw he can still solo sustain from the looks of it, sure his shields start out small but they quickly stack up so he’s like huo huo in the so department not sp-. He’s the kill them before they kill you kind of sustain.
Only good thing about him is they made him easy to build with the free crit and high base stats but he’s still not better than fx, loucha or huo huo sadly.
Seems like I was right, gotta wait for numbers before deciding how good a unit is. As it stands aventruine is in fact not the best sustain. Worst cc prevention and no cleanse while having to use a ton of sp to stack his shields cause they start off kinda weak. On top of it all, he only seems good for fua and even then only 2 of those fua dps would want him….
nvm it doesn’t give team wide crit dmg just the wearier but it also applies a debuff that lets enemies take 8% more dmg after her performs a follow up
do you have e4 pela? That’s who I’m using along with rm. Also Gallagher is a fire abundance with debuff so if they remove aventurine debuff or you don’t go for him he can give one of the debuffs later on when you get topaz and with rm or pela you have your 3.
damn, don't have her either. I like her though I'll get her on rerun. She and Ratio look really fun to use together.

nah sw is not really needed. try to get topaz instead.
I heard Silver Wolf is the best to use with Ratio. If I don't have her, is there anybody else I can use?
