She’s good if your team able to break every mobs. Her Ulti prevents mobs from recover and trigger damage, DoT will be trigger up to 2x. That was great. But I never see my self in need of breaking enemy, instead deal damage direct to hp. It’s elemental type weakness, not a shield. My main team was Seele, Bronya, Tingyun and Hanya. It’s easy to see how amazing Seele is doing in this team, no need to say, haha. Mei is good, but this pull will be regrettable for F2P.

Blade is an incredible character in that he makes the game easy by... never dying, solo or not, while still offering competitive dps

As someone who doesn't especially care for Ruan Mei as a character, her kit is easily top tier

    44 Anonymous5 monthsReport

i mean yeah i do think Blade should be SS and that he is probably the most underrated 5* character (behind Himeko ofc) but judging him based on how well he can solo content is a bit misguided imo. Soloing content is only really relevant in early/mid game when you have limited resources and want to build a strong team asap. Late into the game, there's really no reason for you to have a team of just Blade except for fun.

    43 Anonymous5 monthsReport

yup cuz we care about how good they are individually, blade should be top 1 unit since he can solos content like the one man army unit he is

    42 Anonymous5 monthsReport

tbh i think tier lists should focus more on the synergies between characters rather than how good they are individually

Some people come on here just to hate on characters or be different just for the sake of being different. She's usable on virtually every team and excels at her role. Easy top tier unit.

Rankings are clearly made by what we fans think about them being,Simps of RM will always go for SS rating, while persons who clearly judge a charecter on kits, strength, cons and pro will make a proper judgement and accordingly vote,I bet half of them just votes after getting her in excitement or simping lol,I got her too,But after thorogly building her and seeing that she aint that superb great,I am here lol

    39 Melon5 monthsReport

Yah,I agree with you too,Ruan Mei isnt superb great, she is just a mixture of them all,her kit of tougness break which was supposed to be insane seems bit nurfed too,People who simps for her are just over exaggarating about her being super viable.I wanted her down bad previously, but at present I feel she isnt that meta charecter,She is good only if you need a fillar for a 4th slot

    38 Anonymous5 monthsReport

Feel free to disagree with anything I've said btw, since I still don't really have a proper judgement on RM, and I would like to hear from more sides.

But Pela does actually have one advantage over RM, that being her ultimate. Because her ult is an aoe damaging one with a def down debuff, she has the ability to do chip damage + break small mobs. This is even more salient if you have Huohuo in your team, as Pela's ult is very spammable, enabling her to act as both an emergency healer for the whole team, and a battery for Huohuo. While it is a very small advantage, it still shows that you should only pull RM for Jingliu if you're Bronya-less.

    36 Anonymous5 monthsReport

Btw, to clear up any ambiguity, by "latter" i meant Tingyun. Didn't realize how badly phrased that sentence was after I hit post

    35 Anonymous5 monthsReport

On the topic of Jingliu, while I do think RM is a good support for Jingliu, I also think that the only real synergy the two have is the ice element. If you plan on making your Jingliu stronger, I'd only advise you to pull for RM if you don\t have Bronya. Pela/ Tingyun works just fine as an alternative to RM, with the latter significantly increasing her uptime, Pela, however, is actually, generally speaking, worse than RM.

    34 Anonymous5 monthsReport

only pulled her for my jingliu cuz im bronyaless. 💀 i feel like like my rm gonna be benched once i get bronya.

    33 Anonymous5 monthsReport

for now ehh she is so-so there is nothing busted about her kit. her value will only go up when hoyo releases very strong break dps who can powercreep the current strongest dps. that dps can carry her career.

    32 Anonymous5 monthsReport

this. only my jingliu team uses her. not worth the slot for my other teams.

like there was with Silver Wolf, the purpose being mono-quantum or with Kafka for dot teams. All in all, I'd consider her a premium pull that has the potential to make your moc clearing much easier, but not a must-pull as she lacks a clearly defined niche

    30 Anonymous5 monthsReport

She's basically a concoction of Asta + Pela on steroids. But, surprisingly, this is the very thing that's holding me back from saying that she's a must-pull unit. For one, because her utility (breaking weakness bars) isn't particularly relevant, she basically has no distinguishing utility aside from bigger numbers, which can, of course, change with due time, as more break-centric characters are released. Furthermore, because she doesn't stand out, there's no TRUE incentive to go for her

    29 Anonymous5 monthsReport

Still, RM is going to be a strong and reliable support that you can bring to about any team comp. If I had to describe her, I'd say her situation is the opposite of Silver Wolf's. The latter is very niche (basically confined to mono-esque teams) but extremely good if you can fulfill that niche. RM, on the other hand, is viable in virtually any team comps, but she doesn't really stand out in any of them.

    28 Anonymous5 monthsReport

The reason why she doesn't work very well with dot is because this team comp focuses on applying as much dot debuffs on the enemies as possible. Considering that a sustain is mandatory, we only have 3 team slots remaining. Add in Kafka and the upcoming Black Swan, we only have 1. However, based on current leaks, Black Swan wants more than two types of dots on the enemies, hence RM isn't needed in dot teams. As for mono-quantum, this is quite self-explanatory.
