You can find Devastators in any of the sectors and difficulties mentioned above!
You are guaranteed to encounter Devastators in Eliminate Devastator missions regardless of the difficulty you choose.
Clearing Eliminate Devastator missions in Easy difficulty is the best way to complete Personal Orders related to it while also maximizing the XP you gain whenever you extract!
While doing the mission called Eradicate Automaton Forces is also a viable way to farm Devastators, it will be harder to clear it when playing alone.
How to Kill a Devastator |
---|
|
Weak Spot | Shoot the Devastator's head to deal some huge damage against it. You can also shoot the stomach area but it deals less damage compared to a headshot. |
---|
For all variants of the Devastator, their weak spot is the head. Successfully shooting a Devastator's head will allow you to kill it quickly!
While not as effective as shooting the Devastator's head, you can also opt to shoot the stomach area of a Devastator to kill it. We recommend using a shotgun such as the SG-225 Breaker to do this, especially when in close range.
Note that killing a Heavy Devastator using this method is much more difficult since it has a shield. You will need to maneuver to its side or behind it in order to deal fatal damage!
For the Standard and Rocket Devastators, you can shoot down both of their arms to immobilize them. By doing this, you can finish off a Devastator without it damaging you.
Standard Devastators use arm cannons as their weapon. A Standard Devastator's head is its only exposed part.
Heavy Devastators use a gun as their weapon. Unlike the standard variant, the heavy Devastator has a shield. However, its head is still exposed.
Rocket Devastators use rockets as their weapon. Similar to the standard variant, a Rocket Devastator's head is its only exposed part. Out of all the variants, the Rocket Devastator hits the hardest.
