This is a walkthrough for the boss NORG from the game Final Fantasy VIII (FF8, FFVIII). Read on for tips and strategy about how to beat NORG, including NORG's stats and other useful information.

How to Beat NORG

Preparation

Junction the Draw command, Item command , and the GF command, and equip Carbuncle.

Moveset

The pods will use harmful status magics and Aero when red. Norg will also use water if Leviathan is not drawn.

Strategy

Summon Carbuncle and ignore the left and right pods. Keep attacking the Norg pod and when Norg comes out, immediately draw Leviathan. Draw and cast Dispel from the pod to Norg to remove its shell and do the same for Protect when it casts it to itself.

the GF Leviathan can only be drawn from this battle. Make sure to do so before the battle is over.
