This is the first time Master Duel has adopted a format from the physical card game of Yu-Gi-Oh!, going with the Trading Card Game (TCG) Format for this run of the Tryout Duels. Players have to keep two things in mind while participating in this event.
The first thing to remember is that with the adoption of the format, it also inherits the Forbidden & Limited Card List used by TCG players. It is a completely different list than the Master Duel Banlist, which updates more sporadically compared to the game's.

Master Duel does not have all the cards that are in the TCG or OCG just yet. The newer cards will eventually arrive to the game at some point in time, but players will have to find a workaround on Decks that need crucial cards but are not in Master Duel's current card pool.

There are some Decks that are popular in Master Duel, and can make an easy transition into the TCG Format featured in the Tryout Duels event!
Just make sure to tweak to your liking. And remember, Maxx "C" is banned for this event!
