Hold Down the Crouch Button

How to Prone

In order to prone in Rainbow Six Mobile, you first have hold down the crouch button on the lower right side on the screen. Once your operator starts crouching, continue holding down the crouch button to lower your position and enter the prone state.

Take note that if you want to get out of the prone state, you have to tap the crouch button twice to start crouching on the first tap and stand up on the second tap.

When playing as Defenders, proning is a huge advantage as you are harder to aim at due to your small hitbox. This is great for holding angles that can easily catch rushing players off guard and allow you to react faster to win the round.

Keep in mind that it is ideal to use proning on off angles to make use of your hitbox advantage and gain the element of surprise.

Reduced Movement Speed

One small disadvantage of proning would be that your movement speed is greatly reduced, leaving you vulnerable to flanks and slower to reposition. When against highly mobile enemies, it is best to keep yourself in position and bait them into rushing you to even the playing field.
