This is a beginner's guide to Rainbow Six Mobile (R6M). Learn more about the basics of the game, how to get started, and various tips and tricks to improve your gameplay!

Adjust Gameplay Settings
From your settings, go to the Gameplay tab and make sure to adjust everything to suit your preferences. You can adjust things such as aim sensitivity, aim assist, movement, and leaning.
Moving and aiming comfortably can significantly improve your gameplay and win you more games.
Enable Auto-Shoot if Needed
Rainbow Six Mobile features an Auto-Shoot feature, which means you can automatically shoot upon having an enemy in your sights. This is a great advantage to have, and can ease you into the game.
Practice in the Shooting Range
To test out your settings, you can practice in a Shooting Range with any Operator of your choice. Move around, shoot static targets in the range, and make small adjustments to your settings until you are satisfied!
Familiarize Yourself with the Maps
Knowing the ins and outs of the playable maps is a significant aspect of the game. Make sure to take the time to familiarize yourself with the Maps to better understand what to do and where to go.
Do Quick Play Matches
Apply what you practice in the Quick Play gamemode! Play as both Attacker and Defender in a best of 3 setup and progress through Challenges!
Playing enough matches will also unlock other gamemodes, including Ranked, where you can push your skills even further!
Unlock Operator Mastery
Once you play at least 5 matches, you can unlock Operator Mastery! With this, you can obtain attachments and cosmetics to further customize your loadouts.
Team Up With Friends
It is much easier to execute strategies and communicate plans if you know your team. Invite your friends to play or connect with other players to team up!

Get Used to Leaning
Leaning has both offensive and defensive applications in the game. You can hold angles while minimizing exposure or clear corners more effectively to gain a slight advantage over enemies.
Breach Walls For New Angles
Whether you are Attacking or Defending, breaching walls can help you get new vantage points. With these angles, you can catch enemies off guard. You can also completely break down light walls to quickly go through areas.
Reinforce Key Walls When Defending
When defending, make sure to reinforce key walls to hinder enemies from pushing too fast. However, reinforced walls can be broken down by specific Operators, so watch out!
Gather Info With Drones
Use your drones often to gather information on the enemy's positions. You can clear rooms and check corners with drones so you can safely move across the map.
Plan Out How to Enter Areas
Each map has their own unique layout and different floors. When attacking, it is vital that you plan out how you will enter areas instead of rushing in carelessly.
Support Using Your Abilities and Gadgets
Support your team by knowing how and where to use your Operator's abilities. These abilities range from team buffs, utility, traps, and more!
Prioritize Securing the Objective
Securing the objective is your highest priority whether you are Defending or Attacking. Make sure not to get greedy and go for kills, as you can get punished by traps and jeopardize the game.
