Each operator brings two weapons to a match. The primary weapon is the more powerful and robust of the two. Usually a rifle, it is able to kill more effectively due to its higher damage or higher fire rate.
The secondary weapon, a smaller weapon with usually a slower fire rate or lower damage is used as a reserve in case the primary weapon runs out of ammo in the middle of a gunfight as reloading a primary weapon is slower that swapping weapons..
