    IGN: Aaren Riddle: 15 Answer: Pikachu: Pikachu is the mascot for Pokémon and the first thing that will pop into peoples head when you say Pokémon. Pikachu was Ash’s first ever Pokémon in the anime, and the first ever pokémon that he caught in the manga. Additionally, Pikachu is the starter pokémon in Pokémon Yellow, which is something that no non-starter pokémon has ever done.
