Deck Explanation

The very same Loaner Deck players can borrow for the Theme Chronicle Event, the Plunder Patroll Deck Voyage to Uncharted Lands is an effective Deck in its own right. Its ability to summon even on the opponent's turn can disrupt the opponent to victory.

Theme Chronicle Crusadia

Main Deck: 42 Cards
Crusadia Arboria x3 Crusadia Draco x3 Crusadia Leonis x3 Crusadia Maximus x3 Crusadia Reclusia x3
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring x3 Parallel eXceed x3 Maxx "C" x3 Effect Veiler x2 Jizukiru, the Star Destroying Kaiju x2
Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion x1 Nibiru, the Primal Being x1 Called by the Grave x2 Crusadia Revival x1 Crusadia Testament x1
Crossout Designator x1 Forbidden Droplet x1 Lightning Storm x1 Monster Reborn x1 Reinforcement of the Army x1
Infinite Impermanence x3
Extra Deck: 15 Cards
Crusadia Magius x2 Salamangreat Almiraj x1 Crusadia Regulex x3 Crusadia Spatha x3 I:P Masquerena x1
Knightmare Phoenix x1 Crusadia Equimax x1 Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Chaos x1 Knightmare Unicorn x1 Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax x1

Deck Explanation

Crusadia was featured in one of the sub-gates of The Legend of the Star Heroes: The Secret Powers of the Planet. Their ability to Link Climb and continue to summon Link Monsters with higher Link Ratings lets them end Duels very quickly with their boss monsters with overwhelming ATK.

Theme Chronicle Level 10 Trains

Main Deck: 40 Cards
Heavy Freight Train Derricrane x3 Night Express Knight x3 Super Express Bullet Train x3 Flying Pegasus Railroad Stampede x3 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring x3
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring x3 Maxx "C" x3 Ruffian Railcar x2 Jizukiru, the Star Destroying Kaiju x1 Nibiru, the Primal Being x1
Revolving Switchyard x3 Urgent Schedule x3 Lightning Storm x3 Called by the Grave x2 Cosmic Cyclone x2
Harpie x1 Raigeki x1 Terraforming x1 Infinite Impermanence x2
Extra Deck: 15 Cards
Galaxy-Eyes Cipher X Dragon x3 Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max x3 Skypalace Gangaridai x2 Heavy Armored Train Ironwolf x1 Superdimensional Robot Galaxy Destroyer x1
Number XX: Utopic Dark Infinity x1 Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder x1 Aussa the Earth Charmer, Immovable x1 Double Headed Anger Knuckle x1 Pentestag x1

Deck Explanation

Some of the boss monsters for a usual Level 10 Trains Deck, there are still quite a number of optons to go for, focusing on other Rank 10 Xyz Monsters to have a chance at the Extra Deck. Players can be caught off-guard seeing high-leveled monsters being summoned left and right, and being used as Xyz Material.

Theme Chronicle Monarchs

Main Deck: 40 Cards
Edea the Heavenly Squire x3 Eidos the Underworld Squire x2 Kuraz the Light Monarch x3 Majesty x1 Thestalos the Mega Monarch x1
Ehther the Heavenly Monarch x3 Erebus the Underworld Monarch x3 Foolish Burial x1 Reinforcement of the Army x1 One for One x1
Tenacity of the Monarchs x3 Pantheism of the Monarchs x3 Domain of the True Monarchs x3 Return of the Monarchs x3 The Monarchs Stormforth x3
The Monarchs Erupt x2 Escalation of the Monarchs x1 The Prime Monarch x3

Deck Explanation

With most of the meta archetypes gone, Monarchs bring back the old school style of playing the game with their various Tribute Summoning. It does not even need an Extra Deck to be competitive compared to the rest of the archetypes.

Theme Chronicle Superheavy Samurai

Main Deck: 40 Cards
Superheavy Samurai Flutist x3 Superheavy Samurai Scales x3 Superheavy Samurai Soulpeacemaker x3 Superheavy Samurai Soulpiercer x3 Superheavy Samurai Wagon x3
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring x3 Maxx "C" x3 Superheavy Samurai Gigagloves x2 Superheavy Samurai Prepped Defense x2 Superheavy Samurai Trumpeter x2
Droll & Lock Bird x2 Effect Veiler x2 Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion x2 Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit x2 Superheavy Samurai Soulbuster Gauntlet x1
Superheavy Samurai Soulhorns x1 Alpha, the Master of Beasts x1 Nibiru, the Primal Being x1 Superheavy Samurai Thief x1
Extra Deck: 15 Cards
Superheavy Samurai Swordmaster Musashi x2 Superheavy Samurai Ogre Shutendoji x2 Superheavy Samurai Stealth Ninja x2 Superheavy Samurai Ninja Sarutobi x2 Superheavy Samurai Beast Kyubi x2
Superheavy Samurai Warlord Susanowo x2 Superheavy Samurai Steam Train King x1 Superheavy Samurai Scarecrow x2

Deck Explanation

The Superheavy Samurai archetype is one archetype that was not hit at all by the Theme Chronicle event's banlist, and is a tricky Deck to both play with, and play against. They specialize in using Defense as their main offense, with monsters that can attack while in Defense Position. They also happen to not carry and Spell or Trap Cards!

Theme Chronicle Galaxy-Eyes

Main Deck: 40 Cards
Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon x3 Photon Orbital x3 Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring x3 Maxx "C" x3 Galaxy-Eyes Afterglow Dragon x2
Galaxy Soldier x2 Galaxy Wizard x2 Photon Vanisher x2 Galaxy Brave x1 Galaxy Knight x1
Photon Thrasher x1 Photon Advancer x1 Photon Sanctuary x3 Galaxy Expedition x2 Called by the Grave x2
Trade-In x2 Galaxy Trance x1 Galaxy Zero x1 Harpie x1 Raigeki x1
Reinforcement of the Army x1 Infinite Impermanence x1 Tachyon Transmigration x1
Extra Deck: 15 Cards
Starliege Photon Blast Dragon x2 Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy x1 Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon x1 Number 90: Galaxy-Eyes Photon Lord x1 Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon x1
Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon x1 Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon x1 Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon x1 Galaxy-Eyes Cipher X Dragon x1 Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon x1
Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder x1 Galaxy-Eyes Solflare Dragon x1 Bujinki Ahashima x1 Borreload Dragon x1

Deck Explanation

For the most part, Galaxy-Eyes were mostly untouched in the event-exclusive banlist, even though they were not featured at all in any Solo Mode Gate, the game mode where the event takes inspiration from. Their ability to Special Summon monsters with high ATK and potent effects remains effective in the event format, and their variety in Xyz Monster options is to be feared.

Theme Chronicle Sharks

Main Deck: 40 Cards
Abyss Shark x3 Buzzsaw Shark x3 Beautunaful Princess x3 Silent Angler x3 Crystal Shark x2
Left-Hand Shark x2 Right-Hand Shark x2 Lifeless Leaffish x2 Lantern Shark x1 Xyz Remora x1
Barian x3 White Mirror x2 Called by the Grave x2 Seventh Ascension x1 Rank-Up-Magic Quick Chaos x1
Harpie x1 Foolish Burial x1 Foolish Burial Goods x1 Lightning Storm x1 One for One x1
Infinite Impermanence x2 Ice Barrier x1 Xyz Revive Splash x1
Extra Deck: 15 Cards
Number 37: Hope Woven Dragon Spider Shark x2 Number 73: Abyss Splash x2 Number C101: Silent Honor DARK x2 Number 32: Shark Drake x1 Number 39: Utopia x1
Number 101: Silent Honor ARK x1 Number C32: Shark Drake Veiss x1 Number C39: Utopia Ray x1 Number C73: Abyss Supra Splash x1 Number S39: Utopia the Lightning x1
Abyss Dweller x1 Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder x1

Deck Explanation

Sharks were also mainly untouched from the event-exclusive banlist, and can make use of lots of Xyz Monsters to be their boss monsters--so long as they match the requirement. They have a very aggressive early game, being able to summon a formidable field on their first turn before the opponent can realize it.

Theme Chronicle Solfachord

Main Deck: 40 Cards
DoSolfachord Cutia x3 DoSolfachord Coolia x3 ReSolfachord Dreamia x3 Solsolfachord Gracia x3 Diviner of the Herald x3
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring x3 TiSolfachord Beautia x2 LaSolfachord Angelia x1 Trias Hierarchia x1 Astrograph Sorcerer x1
Solfachord Elegance x3 Solfachord Harmonia x3 Awakening of the Possessed x3 Called by the Grave x2 Harpie x1
Instant Fusion x1 One for One x1 Solfachord Musica x3
Extra Deck: 15 Cards
Elder Entity N x1 Patissciel Couverture x1 Aussa the Earth Charmer, Immovable x1 Dharc the Dark Charmer, Gloomy x1 Hiita the Fire Charmer, Ablaze x1
Lyna the Light Charmer, Lustrous x1 Knightmare Phoenix x1 Knightmare Cerberus x1 Beyond the Pendulum x1 Heavymetalfoes Electrumite x1
I:P Masquerena x1 Knightmare Unicorn x1 Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess x1 Borreload Dragon x1 Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax x1

Deck Explanation

Solfachords are not featured in the Solo Mode Gate, but they get a chance to shine thanks to the various hits to the more dominant meta-decks in the event banlist. They focus on gaining advantage through Pendulum mechanics, especially when it comes to Pendulum Scales--it matters if the Scale is an odd or event number.

Theme Chronicle Branded Despia

Main Deck: 41 Cards
Despian Tragedy x3 Springans Kitt x3 Albion the Shrouded Dragon x3 Edge Imp Chain x3 Maxx "C" x3
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring x3 Dramaturge of Despia x1 Ad Libitum of Despia x1 Nibiru, the Primal Being x1 Frightfur Patchwork x3
Polymerization x3 Allure of Darkness x2 Lightning Storm x2 Called by the Grave x2 Branded Opening x2
Branded in Red x2 Despia, Theater of the Branded x1 Infinite Impermanence x3
Extra Deck: 15 Cards
Albion the Branded Dragon x2 Masquerade the Blazing Dragon x2 Guardian Chimera x2 Mudragon of the Swamp x1 Titaniklad the Ash Dragon x1
Brigrand the Glory Dragon x1 Lubellion the Searing Dragon x1 Salamangreat Almiraj x1 I:P Masquerena x1 Dharc the Dark Charmer, Gloomy x1
Knightmare Unicorn x1 Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess x1

Deck Explanation

Even with a number of hits for a Branded Despia Deck in the event banlist, the Deck is still very much viable. A small adjustment had to be made to accommodate the loss of Branded Fusion and Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon not being available, making it a viable contender still in the event's format.

Theme Chronicle Suship

Main Deck: 40 Cards
Gunkan Suship Shari x3 Gunkan Suship Ikura x3 Gunkan Suship Shirauo x3 Gunkan Suship Shari Red x3 Gunkan Suship Uni x3
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring x3 Maxx "C" x3 Tenyi Spirit - Shthana x2 Gunkan Sushipyard Seaside Supper Spot x3 Piercing the Darkness x2
Painful Decision x2 Unexpected Dai x2 Called by the Grave x2 Harpie x1 Pot of Avarice x1
Gunkan Suship Daily Special x2 Infinite Impermanence x2
Extra Deck: 15 Cards
Gunkan Suship Ikura-Class Dreadnought x2 Gunkan Suship Shirauo-class Carrier x2 Gunkan Suship Uni-class Super-Dreadnought x2 Number F0: Utopic Future x1 Number 39: Utopia x1
Number S39: Utopia the Lightning x1 Daigusto Emeral x1 Tornado Dragon x1 Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger x1 Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder x1
Bujinki Ahashima x2

Deck Explanation

An unorthodox Xyz Monster-centric Deck that circles around a Normal Monster as a centerpiece of their strategy, Suships seem like a complicated Deck to play. It focuses on bringing out the Suship Xyz Monsters using Gunkan Suship Shari and a specific monster to give additional effects to the boss monsters.
