Tearlaments had some consistencies hit with the other Summoning types outside of Fusion Monsters being unavailable for this event, and even more so when the most recent banlist update banned Primeval Planet Perlereino. To compensate for being locked to Fusions only, the Deck can make use of some help from King of the Swamp and the Yubel engine.

While a traditional HERO Deck makes use of various Link Monsters in their own archetype to further their combos, the Duel Triangle event locks them out of using them.
Instead, this Deck Recipe embraces their Fusion-centric roots even more, make use of boss monsters from each of the HERO sub-archetypes. Classics include Destiny HERO - Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer, Masked HERO Dark Law, and Vision HERO Trinity can end games on their own.

With the additon of Ancient Gear's most recent support from the Advance of Great Forces Selection Pack, the Deck is one of the strongest Fusion-based Decks in the game in terms of sheer firepower alone. It also helps that their strategy can deny the activation of effects in response to your Ancient Gears.
As the Deck is mostly Machine-type and locked into Fusion Monsters in the Extra Deck, the Cyber Dragons are slotted in for more machine Fusions, as well as possible game enders of their own like a Power Bond-powered Cyber Twin Dragon or Cyber End Dragon.

Compared to other Fusion Decks, Dark Magician is a lot slower and deliberate. This is interntional, as the Deck is built as a Control Deck. Most of the Fusion Monsters either provide protection or act as a floodgate.
The Toy Box Deck Engine also perfeclty compliments the Deck, which works hand in hand with the Illusion of Chaos Deck Engine.

There are some restrictions for this event when it comes to building a Branded Despia Deck, including some cards that are restricted or even banned in this event's special format for Fusion Decks. Nevertheless, the Deck is incredibly potent, and condensing it to 40 instead of the favored 60-card version makes card management a lot easier.
