⚫︎ Mongil: Star Dive returns with a brand new gameplay trailer and an official global launch date of April 15, 2026. The game will be released for PC and mobile devices first. It is unknown when the PS5 and Xbox Series versions will be released.

Mongil: Star Dive Overview
Mongil: Star Dive is the latest monster taming action-adventure RPG by South Korean developer and publisher Netmarble Corp. It is the sequel to Netmarble’s Monster Tamer, a popular monster-taming mobile game that was originally released in 2013 and reached its end of service in 2023. This newer iteration takes place in a vast world filled with different kinds of monsters players can tame and use in battle.
Mongil: Star Dive also features fast-paced tag team combat that incentivizes players to initiate strategic quickswap gameplay to unleash powerful attack combos with characters who have different playstyles and specializations.
Mongil: Star Drive will launch on April 15, 2026. It will be available on PC exclusively through Epic Games and on Android and iOS. The release date for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions is yet to be revealed.

Mongil: Star Dive Gameplay
Mongil: Star Dive features a mix of monster taming and traditional action-adventure RPG combat similar to well-established games such as Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Wuthering Waves. Players swap between any of the three deployed characters of their choosing to launch chain attacks. Elemental damage plays a role in the combat as well; players can select specific characters to deploy depending on the enemies’ weaknesses.
Aside from simply defeating monsters, players can tame them using the mysterious power of Nyanners, the game’s official mascot and a unique monster who appears at the very start of the game. Tamed monsters possess special abilities that can be used in battle.
