Traditionally staged in September at the Makuhari Messe convention center, the event brings together major publishers, independent developers, hardware makers, and technology companies to showcase their latest projects.
While the first two days are usually reserved for industry professionals and media, the following days are open to the public, with exhibition floors open to all attendees.
