Resident Evil Requiem Nintendo Switch 2 Live Demo Announced for TGS 2025

The latest Resident Evil title, Resident Evil Requiem, will be playable on the Nintendo Switch 2 during TGS 2025. Attendees can also look forward to experiencing Resident Evil Requiem on the PlayStation 5, desktop PC, and laptop.

Resident Evil Requiem is slated for release on February 27, 2026. Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village will also be released for the Nintendo Switch 2 on the same day.

Street Fighter 6 Brings C. Viper to the Fight on October 15

Street Fighter 6’s Year 3 gears up for the return of C, Viper, as she joins the fight next month on October 15, 2025. The special intelligence operative flourishes her moves in a new gameplay trailer, marking her return to the series since her debut and last appearance in Street Fighter 4. C. Viper will be playable in Capcom’s TGS 2025 booth, so fans can get their own feel of her playstyle ahead of her release.

C. Viper uses a variety of spy gadgets, often burning or shocking her opponents. But she’s more than just fancy toys and electronics: she also has a fighting style that specializes in utilizing her signature High Kick. The "C. Viper Arrives!" Fighting Pass is also now available, with exclusive limited-time EX colors, titles, music, avatar gear, challenger screen cosmetics, emotes, a classic game, and stickers.

Street Fighter 6 has also collaborated with Banshee’s Last Cry, a visual novel celebrating its 30th anniversary. The collab will bring a new scenario in World Tour mode, along with collab-themed items available to players who log in, which will be free to all players who log in during its duration.

Along with C. Viper’s release, Mech Zangie-F will also be returning as an outfit for Zangief, commemorated by a collaboration with rock band Cavallera Conspiracy. More information on the band’s upcoming original track will be revealed in the future.

Updates and New Content

Monster Hunter: Wilds x Final Fantasy XIV and Content Roadmap Detailed at TGS 2025

CAPCOM has given fans a detailed look at Monster Hunter: Wilds Title Update 3, which includes the highly anticipated collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV), coming on September 29. Additionally, they have also unveiled their roadmap for the rest of 2025, culminating in Title Update 4 in December.

The upcoming update will include an extra story mission feature featuring FFXIV characters, as well as introduce two jobs from the MMO, namely Dark Knight and Pictomancer. Additionally, the collaboration will add new Palico and Seikret equipment along with several cosmetic rewards.

The developers have also announced that several gestures will be added as free DLC. Several other paid DLC packs and individual add-ons were also previewed, coming in the form of quest completion animations, music, pendants, and more.

In addition to several event quests, a limited-time Seregios Challenge Quest and a Free Challenge Quest featuring new Arch-tempered Nu Udra will also be coming to the game.

The developers also unveiled their roadmap for the rest of 2025. As detailed in the content plan, Arch-tempered Nu Udra is coming on October 22, along with the kickoff for the seasonal event Festival of Accord: Dreamspell, which will conclude on November 12. December’s Title Update 4 marks the end of the roadmap, promising expanded end-game content, game improvements, another Festival of Accord seasonal event, and brand-new monster Gogmazios.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Gets a Free Title Update Coming November 19!

The original Ace Attorney trilogy starring everyone’s favorite defense attorney, Phoenix Wright, is getting a free title update! This new update will include a Gallery Mode, where players can play tracks from all three games, check out a variety of artwork, and even look at the various animations from all of the characters that appear in the game.

Additionally, the new update adds an Episode Selection mode so you can choose to experience and relive your favorite episode or chapter at any time. It also adds a new Story Mode difficulty that automatically solves puzzles for you and a new Testimony function so you can revisit important dialogue to keep track of all of the details.

Last, but definitely not least, is the addition of two new language options, specifically Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, as the series expands to a global horizon.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy’s new update will be available on November 19, 2025. The game is available for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

PRAGMATA Shows Off New Gameplay Footage

Highly anticipated title, PRAGMATA, reveals new gameplay mechanics that show off the game’s hybrid take on the third-person shooter genre. The footage showcases new weapons, including the Charge Piercer for high-damage burst shots and the Decoy Generator to isolate enemies for easier fights.

Alongside the new weapons, the gameplay footage also shows off the game’s hacking aspect by showcasing the Multihack, where Diana hacks multiple enemies at once, and the Decode hack, which lowers the enemy's armor for maximum damage.

PRAGMATA is scheduled to be released in 2026 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword Shows Off New Footage in Story Trailer

Onimusha: Way of the Sword shows off new footage in a trailer at TGS 2025, revealing a closer look at the story of the samurai Miyamoto Musashi as he is forced to take the power of the Oni to sustain his life. Both allies and foes make an appearance, notably featuring the Oni gauntlet-wielding Sasaki Ganryu, who will be a thorn in Musashi’s side.

A fight against Ganryu is available to attendees who visit Capcom’s booth at TGS 2025, giving them a taste of what the gameplay is like.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is slated to release sometime in 2026 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection Releases on March 13, 2026!

New details of the upcoming Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection have been revealed! The game will include monster newcomers from the latest mainline Monster Hunter game, specifically the Chatacabra and the Apex Predator of the Wildspire Wastes, Rey Dau!

New story details regarding the narrative of the upcoming game also reveal that the world is on the brink of destruction due to two warring nations, Azuria and Vermeil, and the disaster called the Crystal Encroachment, which is responsible for disrupting the balance of the ecosystem. As the captain of the Rangers and the prince or princess of Azuria, you’ll be responsible for investigating the anomalies surrounding the Crystal Encroachment, as well as helping restore the damaged ecosystems brought by the disaster.

The showcase also revealed new gameplay footage involving seamless exploration with the use of the improved Riding Actions, so that you can fly, climb, and discover new areas with ease and no interruptions. Battles will still feature the classic rock-paper-scissors style of turn-based combat, but will have new features such as Synchro Actions that enhance the strategy aspect of the game. Lastly, Capcom also teased that there will be new details regarding the gathering and raising of Monsties, but they will be revealed at another time.

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection Extended Announce Trailer Released

Seven Mega Man Star Force games make an explosive return with the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection. Fans of the series as well as new players will get to experience older Mega Man Star Force titles with enhanced visuals, competitive online matches, streamlined gameplay, access to the game’s original art and soundtrack, and the return of exclusive Bonus Cards that were previously locked behind limited-time events!

Originally released during the 20th anniversary of the classic Mega Man series nearly 20 years ago, the Mega Man Star Force games continued the legacy of the Mega Man Battle Network series as an action RPG with deckbuilding elements.

Mega Man Star Force Legacy is set to release in 2026 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox, and Steam.

Street Fighter League and CAPCOM Pro Tour Announced at TGS 2025

CAPCOM eSports has unveiled this year’s Street Fighter League (SFL), the official tournament for Street Fighter 6, and the teams participating across three regions worldwide: Japan, the US, and Europe.

12 teams, split into two divisions, are currently competing for the top spot in Japan, with live coverage airing every Tuesday and Friday until the season ends. SFL: Pro-Europe and Pro-US will then kick off in the fall. Each match will be broadcast live, with 6 Pro-Europe teams battling from November 22-29 and 8 Pro-US teams facing off from November 13-16 and December 2-7. The winning teams from each region will advance to the Street Fighter League: World Championship 2025 at Ryogoku Kokugikan.

Meanwhile, the CAPCOM Pro Tour will take place from March 11-15, 2026, also at Ryogoku Kokugikan. Here, professional and amateur players alike will be competing for the chance at a $1 million cash prize at CAPCOM Cup 12. Several qualifying offline and online tournaments are now open for entry and participation.

Capcom Town Gets Revamped!

Capcom’s 40th anniversary site, Capcom Town, gets an all-new facelift. The site’s grand reopening will allow fans to experience classic games such as Mega Man 3, Demon’s Crest, Street Fighter 2, and more! The site will also include a new media theatre for all upcoming titles. More features and content will be available in the near future.
