Final Fantasy XIV x Monster Hunter Wilds Collab Drops this October 7, 2025
Arkveld and Other Monster Hunter Wilds Items Arrive on Patch 7.35!

Director of Final Fantasy XIV Naoki Yoshi-P
Yoshida and Global Community Producer Toshio Murouchi start the showcase with the reveal of when patch 7.35 drops, which is on October 7, 2025.
The patch will contain the following additions:
⚫︎ Allied Society Quests - Yok Huy
⚫︎ New Deep Dungeon - Pilgrim’s Traverse
⚫︎ Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures
New daily Allied Society quests with the Yok Huy will be added, along with a new Deep Dungeon called the Pilgrim’s Traverse. Not only that, but everyone’s favorite gentleman inspector, Hildibrand, will also make a return with a continuation of his questline in the next patch.

After a brief description of these, they then reveal the biggest addition of the patch, which will be the collaboration trial featuring Monster Hunter Wilds’ flagship monster, Arkveld. Joining them on stage are Monster Hunter Wilds Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and Executive Director Kaname Fujioka to present the details of the Arkveld trial in the upcoming patch.
Arkveld Trial - Windward Wilds Gameplay Showcase

We are then treated to a showcase of the actual trial, where Yoshi-P and Fujioka attempt to defeat the Arkveld in a first-ever reveal of the trial. Similar to MH Wilds, Arkveld is quick and relentless with its attacks.
Certain attacks were also taken from their original iteration but given the XIV raid flavor. One thing to note is that the trial is quite hectic, as it has a combination of moving AOEs, nonstandard telegraphed attacks, and erratic patterns.
It even got to the point where they failed their first attempt, as the Arkveld proved that its aggression was too much for Yoshi-P and company. They eventually defeat it on their second attempt, but not without struggle.
Additional Content Showcase
After completing the raid, Yoshi-P showcased the gear that would be obtainable after completing the raid. In addition to the Arkveld-themed weapons that look similar to the weapons in Monster Hunter Wilds, they also showcase the Hope Armor set and its variations and dyeable segments.
After a short photo op with the rest of the party showing off the new gear, Yoshi-P also revealed the different obtainable mounts and minions on stream, like the Seikret and Emergency Cart mounts and the Baby Seikret and Vigorfly minions.
FF14 x Final Fantasy Tactics: Ivalice Chronicles

Final Fantasy 14 will also receive content in relation to the upcoming release of Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, the 2025 remaster of the 1997 PlayStation game. As part of this crossover, players can gain access to new collaboration costumes modeled after the FF Tactics’ protagonists. These include the attire of Ramza Beoulve, Ovelia, and Gaffgarion. Alongside these outfits, orchestration rolls featuring music from FF Tactics.
This collaboration is set to release on Tuesday next week, September 30. The items, including the aforementioned costumes and orchestration rolls, will be distributed through the online store, where players can purchase and equip them for in-game use.

Square Enix ended the presentation by inviting people to the upcoming Final Fantasy Festival scheduled for 2026. According to the fanfest’s website, the event will transpire at different dates and locations around the world—April 2026 in Anaheim, California; July 2026 in Berlin, Germany; and October 31 to November 1, 2026 in Tokyo, Japan.
