Tales of Graces f Remastered Gameplay
Tales of Graces f Remastered features a real-time combat system called the Style Shift Linear Motion Battle System. This system allows players to switch between two combat styles: A-Artes or Assault Artes, which are quick strikes that can be chained together, and B-Artes or Burst Artes, which are usually elemental attacks for hitting enemy weak points. Skills and attacks are upgraded as players gain titles, which are earned by meeting specific criteria and completing challenges.
The game employs a Chain Capacity system that governs the number of actions, such as attacks or dodges, a character can perform consecutively before needing a pause to recover. However, filling the Eleth Gauge allows a character to enter Eleth Burst, which enables near-infinite combo chains and resistance to stun effects.
Exploration in the game benefits from the inclusion of quality-of-life updates unique to the remaster, such as destination markers, autosaves, and the ability to toggle random encounters.
Tales of Graces f Remastered Story
Tales of Graces f Remastered is set on the planet Ephinea and follows the journey of Asbel Lhant, a noble’s son, his childhood friends Cheria and Hubert, the amnesiac Sophie, and Richard, the prince of Windor. The group made a childhood promise to protect each other. Years later, their paths cross again amidst political turmoil as the kingdoms of Ephinea vie for power. As the story unfolds, the group faces internal and external conflicts, and much is revealed about Sophie’s past.
In the Lineage and Legacies epilogue, the group reunites to confront new dangers linked to the end of the base game, compelling the party to investigate the cause.
