Ananta released a 10-minute gameplay footage of the Captain and Lykaia dealing with the Maniac Chaos gang.
Japanese video game magazine Famitsu also reported that Ananta will not use the gacha system for obtaining characters.

Ananta released a 7-minute gameplay trailer, showcasing the game at its latest state.

NetEase and Naked Rain announced that Ananta will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show 2025.

Ananta uploaded a new trailer showcasing the game. Pre-registrations are now open on the game’s official website.

Project Mugen was renamed to Ananta. A new teaser trailer and a major rebranding of the game’s social media accounts went public along with this announcement.

Ananta, which was previously known as Project Mugen, was first unveiled through a trailer released on the game’s old YouTube channel. It attracted widespread attention, gathering hundreds of thousands of pre-registrations within a short period of time.
