There are currently no official announcements about a possible release date for Ananta. However, several eagle-eyed internet sleuths have noticed that Ananta recently had its publishing rights approved by the Chinese government, so a Chinese and/or Global release is likely to come within 2025, or else they would have to reapply for approval in case of a later release.

Ananta Release Announcement History
2023
August | Announcement
Ananta, which was previously known as Project Mugen, was first unveiled through a trailer released on the game’s old YouTube channel. It attracted widespread attention, gathering hundreds of thousands of pre-registrations within a short period of time.
2024
November | Official Game Title
Project Mugen was officially given the name Ananta in a post made on the former’s X account. A new X account was also announced and its previous trailers were reuploaded to a new YouTube channel bearing its official title.
December | Post-Renaming Announcement Trailer
Ananta released a new trailer featuring a compilation of animated slice of life clips of the characters.
