Stellar Blade
Stellar Blade is a narrative-driven action-adventure game developed by Shift Up, the makers of Goddess of Victory: Nikke and Destiny Child. The game follows protagonist Eve on a mission to reclaim Earth after humanity is forced away from its home by alien invaders known as NA:tives.
The game will be launched exclusively for PS5 on April 26, 2024. Preorders for Stellar Blade is available from February 7, 2024 at 7am PST / 10am EST / 3pm GMT. Players who preorder any version of the game will receive an early unlock of Planet Diving Suit, Classic Round Glasses, and Ear Armor Earrings cosmetics for Eve.
Rise of the Ronin
Rise of the Ronin is a combat-focused open-world action RPG developed by Team Ninja, creators of Dead or Alive and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The game is set in the final years of Japan's Edo period, depicting the Boshin war between the Tokugawa Shogunate and anti-shogunate factions.
Rise of the Ronin dropped an extended gameplay overview trailer featuring a heated battle between swordsmen that highlights the game's various combat styles. The game will be released for PS5 on March 22, 2024.
Foamstars
Foamstars is a 4v4 Party Shooter game by Square Enix. The Foamstars are an eccentric cast of capable athletes partaking in the world’s biggest sports event, the Foamsmash tournament. In this tournament, contestants will use foam to attack, defend, or strategically alter terrain to their favor. Skill and charisma will decide who will be crowned the winner of the Foamsmash.
Foamstars revealed a 2024 Season Roadmap for the year. Season 1 will run from February 6 to March 8, followed new seasons launching every 5 weeks throughout the year. There will be updates to the Season Pass, Ranked Party, Extreme Party every season. In addition to ranked matches and seasonal limited-time content, characters, maps, and additional game modes will be released over 2024.
The 4v4 game was announced to arrive next week, February 6, in the PlayStation Plus as part of its February Monthly Games lineup.
Remasters and Remakes
Silent Hill 2
Silent Hill 2 is a survival horror video game developed by Bloober Team and published by Konami. The game is a remake of the original Silent Hill 2 launched in 2001. Players control James, having received a letter from his deceased wife. James heads to where he and his wife shared so many memories, in the hope of seeing her one more time: Silent Hill.
The game was announced to be currently in development for PS5.
Until Dawn Remastered
Until Dawn is an interactive drama horror video that revolves around eight friends brought together at a remote mountain retreat, navigating live-or-die scenarios involving a mysterious killer, cannibalistic wendigos, and more. The remastered version of Supermassive Games’ drama horror hit is developed by Virtuos.
Until Dawn Remastered introduces a third-person camera, added contextual character movement animations, new locations with new interactions and collectables, and a new score from horror composer Mark Korven.
The game will be released some time in 2024.
Sonic x Shadow Generations
Sonic X Shadow Generations is a "greatest hits playlist" remake of iconic 2D and 3D Sonic levels from Sonic Generations. The game introduces an all-new standalone campaign for Shadow the Hedgehog, featuring a blend of Classic Sonic, Modern Sonic and Shadow gameplay.
In the remake, players get to play as Shadow the Hedgehog as he embarks on his own journey parallel to Sonic’s, and dive into Shadow’s dark past to learn more about him and his motivations.
Sonic X Shadow Generations was announced to be released in Autumn 2024.
Coming to PlayStation 5
Helldivers 2
Helldivers 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter game developed by Arrowhead Game Studios. Enlist in the elite forces of the Helldivers and join the fight for freedom across a hostile galaxy against the rising alien threats.
Helldivers 2 will be released on February 8, 2024.
Dragon's Dogma 2
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the sequel of the original cult-classic action RPG developed by Capcom. The Dragon, or the symbol of the world’s destruction, calls out to the Arisen to best him and fulfill their destiny.
The State of Play January 2024 introduced a new vocation, the Warfarer. The Warfarer is a vocation that allows you to engage in combat while switching between the weapons of other vocations, and is exclusive to the main character, the Arisen.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be released worldwide on March 22, 2024.
Death Stranding 2
Death Stranding 2 is an interactive action game by Kojima Productions. The game was announced to be released some time in 2025. Embark on an inspiring mission of human connection beyond the UCA. Sam, with companions by his side, sets out on a new journey to save humanity from extinction. Join them as they traverse a world beset by otherworldly enemies, obstacles and a haunting question: should we have connected?
The game will come out for PS5 in 2025.
Judas
Judas is a narrative-driven FPS developed by Ghost Story Games, a studio led by Ken Levine, Creative Director of System Shock 2, BioShock, and BioShock Infinite. Players take on the role of the mysterious and troubled Judas. Your only hope for survival is to make or break alliances with your worst enemies.
Zenless Zone Zero
Zenless Zone Zero is an urban fantasy action-RPG by Hoyoverse. Contemporary civilization has been destroyed by a supernatural disaster known as the Hollows. The game takes place in New Eridu, the last urban civilization that survived the apocalypse. However, there are perilous monsters roaming within the Hollows and only a special kind of people called Agents are able to go inside. Players in the game will take on the role of a Proxy, a professional who can guide agents in their exploration of Hollows.
The game will be coming to PS5 some time in 2024.
Dave the Diver
Dave the Diver is a casual adventure RPG developed by MINTROCKET. Join Dave, a professional diver, as he catches unique and delicious fish during the day and serves hungry patrons at a seaside sushi restaurant by night.
The game will be released on PS5 this April featuring the King of the Monsters, Godzilla, in a free Godzilla-themed DLC.
V Rising
V Rising is a Dark Gothic Survival Action-RPG developed by Stunlock Studios. Waking up after centuries of slumber, emerge from your coffin and discover a world that has forgotten the fear of your noble and sinister kin. Strike out into the lands of Vardoran, hunt for blood, and absorb its power to gain new abilities. Raise a mighty castle to shield yourself from the deadly sunlight, collect materials, and craft an arsenal of powerful weapons.
The game will be released some time in 2024.
Silent Hill: The Short Message
Silent Hill: The Short Message is a new, short-form Silent Hill title from Konami, featuring a young, contemporary protagonist. The game is a psychological horror story that explores problems faced by the youth of the 21st century, social media, and young people amid today's zeitgeist.
The game is currently out now, for free, on PS5.
PS VR2
Metro Awakening
Metro Awakening is an all-new Metro game made exclusively for VR. The game is based on the internationally best-selling novels by Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro 2033, Metro: Last Light, and Metro Exodus.
The game is set in 2028 and takes place before the events of Metro 2033. You play as Serdar, a doctor searching for his wife amongst the claustrophobic, irradiated metro tunnels of post-apocalyptic Moscow. As Serdar ventures deeper into the Metro his courage and sanity will be tested by the supernatural forces he encounters, and will set in motion the events that lead to his spiritual awakening as something else entirely.
Metro Awakening will be released later in 2024.
Legendary Tales
Legendary Tales is a 4 player co-op VR Action RPG by Urban Wolf Games Inc. Collect items, enhance your abilities and fight your way through an ever changing dungeon to make your own Legendary Tales.
The game will be released on February 8, 2024.

State of Play February 2024
State of Play was announced to return on February 6, 2024 for State of Play February 2024, featuring an extensive look at Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is an addition to the FFVII remake project, featuring a reimagined story in three standalone titles. Rebirth promises an exciting journey for players that leads them to The Forgotten Capital
from the original Final Fantasy VII. Cloud and his comrades venture across the planet, their fates unwritten, making each step outside the dystopian city of Midgar.
