Stellar Blade Showcases Stylish Combat and a Compelling Narrative
The Naytiba Have Taken Over Post-Apocalyptic Earth
The world has been overrun by mysterious monsters known as the Naytiba, and it has forced humanity off-planet in order to survive. The remaining humans band together to send down Airborne squads to combat the monsters in hopes of taking back Earth. However, on their way down, most of the squads get eliminated.
You will play as Eve, a member of the 7th Airborne squad, who is one of the remaining survivors of the mission. You will help her on her journey to stop and take down the ruler of these monsters, the Elder Naytiba.
Along Eve’s quest, she will meet a handful of friendly companions that will aid her. One example is Lily, a survivor from the 5th squad. She will be your engineering support and upgrade your gear throughout the game. Together, they discover hidden remnants of human civilization still living underground on Earth. Eve will do her best to help and befriend the inhabitants alongside her mission of saving the planet.
Stylish Cinematic Combat
Stellar Blade isn’t all show, as it features heavy action-oriented gameplay elements. Eve can be seen performing ruthless attacks upon monsters, slicing them in half or shooting them in the face point-blank. She can also perform extravagant wide-range attacks that strike at all enemies from every direction. Perfect timing dodges and parries are always also an option for when you want to switch to the defensive or evasive.
Quests Mechanics That Lead to the Open World!
The remaining inhabitants of Earth have a lot of needs and requests, as things have gone for the worst on the planet. Eve will have the option to help and choose quests from characters to help them in order to gain their trust.
These side-missions will often have Eve proceed through the barren open-world wasteland of what remains Earth, where she will have to explore and fulfill the task handed out to her. Whether it be delivery, procurement, or elimination, she can, and will, carry it out for the sake of humanity.
