Rise of the Ronin Gameplay
Rise of the Ronin is an open-world action adventure RPG where players control act as a nameless custom ronin. They will be able to choose their path and alter history, establishing their own ronin in the process. Players will be able to fight through different playstyles using a wide vareity of weapons.
The ronin can go close-quarters with the traditional katana, allowing for swift stirkes using the blade or the hilt. They can also wield a spear for a longer reach, or catch enemies off-guard with a combination of the two in a period bayonet. Players can also fight from afar, using the trust bow and arrow to rain upon enemies from a distance, or go guns blazing with flintlock pistols and revolvers.
Grappling hooks can also be utilized to close distances between the player an enemy during combat, allowing for combos and attack against multiple enemies in quick succession.
Rise of the Ronin Story Plot
Rise of the Ronin follow a nameless ronin in which players will control to shape the history of the Bakumatsu period, the final years of the Edo around 1863. The Black Ships of the West land on the nation’s borders and the country is thrown into turmoil after three centuries of the Tokugawa Shogunate’s oppressive rule. Amidst all this, players will make choices and carve their own paths in an alternate history, holding the fate of the nation in their hands.
